I plan to use Adobe LR 4 for correcting my wedding photography.
I have not tried LR4 beta but plan to buy the upgrade after it is available. I have LR3 and use it for organizing my photos and some editing.
3) I have not used this before but my successful graphic designer friend raves about it. So I’d like to try it, as a designer myself.
Haven’t tried the full version of Lightroom, have tried the trial version in the past. Would like quick, reliable software to improve my photos.
Trying the LR 4 beta. It’s a new world of experience for me. Cool.
I have not tried Lightroom, but would definitely love a program to edit my photos now that I have a good camera.
I’ve just bought lightroom 3 with the 50% discount…
I plan to upgrade but have not had a chance to try the beta. I am currently using LR3. I will be using the new version for the same thing I am currently using LR3; post-processing of my photos .
Ohh I need this so badly! I’d be happy with Lightroom 3!! We were robbed, and now trying to set up a Mac again with software that i don’t have access to any longer or is outdated is very hard and with my DH losing his job in 3 weeks. I’m housebound on oxygen so I try and learn on the Mac now what I used to paint, or do with my artwork, and at the school and senior centers. Now I can’t even get there, so I am trying here! Thanks for the Great Chance, very generous of you and in these times something that will be a real treasure to whomever wins!
Okay I liked, twittered, Facebook shared and commented, is there anything else we need to do? Thanks
Yikes Donna, that’s some story – sorry to hear it! Be sure to contact Adobe about it, as they often can retrieve and reset your serial numbers so you can start anew. Good luck with it, and don’t worry – you’re fully entered in the LR4 Giveaway.
Thank you to everyone so far for your interest, participation, and enthusiasm!
Wanted to get Lightroom 4. I would rather win it. Earning the money to buy it is even better, but then my doggie would have to eat crummy dog food and if you visit page 2 of my website you would not feed your dog crummy dog food just to buy software. It’s win-win; my dog gets good dog food, I get Lightroom 4 and maybe make something cool with the presets to sell and get a prize so I can purchase CS5. Win-Win.
I have LR 3.6 today and plan to upgrade to 4 as soon as it becomes available. I’ve been a happy LR user ever since the first release and I can’t imagine managing my +100K pictures without LR.
I do all my management (selection, key wording, rating) in LR and all my basic editing as well.
I’m not going to buy an upgrade, have not tried the beta version, but if I win, I intend to treat my photos
I have new photo camera, and I don’t have a good software for my photos. I want to be collecting and correcting photos. I know that LR is great stuff.
i use lightroom 3, cs5, and also have elements! i like different things about each one! i would love to have lr 4!! i have an online website so i take photos daily to keep things fresh!!!!
Do you plan to buy or upgrade to Lightroom 4, and what version are you running now?
Im running version 3 right now. If I dont will I will most likely buy version 4.
Have you run the beta or checked the new features in LR4?
Yes I am testing Beta Ver 4. I like it but have found a few minor bugs.
Which is your favorite?
I guess that has to be the BOOK Feature. Smart Idea to hook up with Blurb!
What do you plan to do with Adobe Lightroom 4, how would/will you use it?
Organize, Process, Export, Print photos, maybe make a few books.
I have not tried LR beta, but plan on buying LR 4. Use is personal, however am starting to develop a stock photography library.
Nice addition to my new camera
If I’m really lucky, I hope to start with this version of the program.
I’m an experimenter and am always ready to do beta testing.
I would use this excellent program for my small Video Studio.
Thank you for this great giveaway and for the chance to win a license for very useful and needed software!

I’m using the trial version and would like to buy 4. Would like to use it for editing my pics.. to give it more glam and go semi-professional with my pics.
I would love to use Lightroom to enhance my blog photos. I really prefer to DIY it instead of using pre-made stuff!
I downloaded the Lightroom 4 Beta the night it was released. Wish I had more time to play with it! I really like the new processing engine, but the highlight and shadow recovery tools are going to take getting used to. Currently running LR 3.6.
I find Lightroom really handy for uploading to my Zazzle stores; it delivers the color beautifully!
I use Elements right now and plan on buying the Lightroom 4 as soon as it’s available. I just started pursuing photography on a pro level and look forward to this new software. I haven’t tried out the beta but I heard some great things from people who have it and rely on Lightroom for their editing. I just upgraded my lenses and this give-away would be so helpful!
I have run the LR4 beta. I really like the interface. Not a huge change, but still great improvements.
I haven’t tried Lightroom. But I am a photography student @ NYIP and am just getting started. I am trying to decide between Elements 10, Lightroom, or Photoshop CS5 for my needs – a free edition would definitely make my decision a lot easier. I would so love this….
