    • Hey RLP, did you download and install that Lightroom from the table above? (which is the Creative Cloud version)

Just wanted to make sure, because there is also the traditional version of LR which requires a serial number instead of a login.

Have you ever installed or ran a perpetual version of Lightroom on that same computer? (either LR5 or earlier)

  1. @ProDesignTools

It was the version from the table above (Windows 64-bit version) downloaded in August of this year.

    Filename: Lightroom_5_CCM_LS11_win64.7z
Properties listing on my Win7-64 computer says “Size on disk: 466 MB (489,558,016 bytes)”

I’ve tried it twice on fresh Windows installations with the same results. Again, it’s Lightroom only – Photoshop and Premiere are working fine.

One thought: I am loading a catalog file from a previous installation. It was a CC installation as well, but a previous version. It seems unlikely to me that that would make a difference, just thought I’d mention it just in case.

    • OK, if your CC version of Lightroom 5 keeps asking you for a serial number even though you are joined through a Creative Cloud membership login, then please try these steps:

      1. Make a safe back up of your Lightroom Catalog (always a good idea to do periodically anyway).

      2. Uninstall Lightroom from your computer.

      3. Log out of the CC Desktop App.

      4. Reboot your system.

      5. Log into the CC Desktop App.

      6. Reinstall the Cloud version of Lightroom 5.

    • Sure, glad to help!

For a smooth experience in downloading the files above, make sure you first carefully follow the important download instructions given in the article (this is required by Adobe’s servers for the direct links to work)…

If you’ve followed all the directions but still have difficulties, then try a different web browser, another computer, or a better/faster Internet connection (use wired instead of wireless if possible, as it’s more reliable).

Finally, we also put together a complete step-by-step list of tips if you get stuck or need additional help.

  3. Hi, I followed your method and successfully installed my desired Adobe CC 2014 (June editions) applications but I’m not able to update some of them to October versions: Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign – – – I get TRIAL EXPIRED for these apps, for some reason.

I’m not sure how to reinstall them fresh and wipe all adobe related data to these programs only and not all the other programs that do work… what would you recommend? Has anyone found a way to fix the TRIAL EXPIRED problem? I tried playing with the hosts file, i tried using a different adobe ID, etc…

  4. I successfully downloaded the product but when i tried to install it, it asks some serial number that is nowhere to be found.

Let me know the folder where the serial no. is, or the correct procedure of downloading these products.

    Reply
    • Hey there Jai, you do not ever need a serial number to run Adobe CC 2014 – license keys are not used for these products.

So after you install and run any of the CC 2014 applications above, you can choose to either “License This Software” or “Start Trial”…

If you pick the first one, then you need to select the plan you want and sign in with your Adobe ID.

If you opt for the latter, then you can run the fully-functional software on your computer for 30 days for free (or possibly up to 44 days).

The CC tools never require or use a serial number… Instead, they are tied to your Adobe ID login, making them more portable and flexible than CS ever was.

  5. Hello!

I just have one question. Despite the directions by Adobe in the instructions page on the link you posted, I still do not understand how to use the Adobe Dreamweaver 32 bit exe downloader. It extracts a folder but there is no executable “Setup.exe” file as I’ve seen in other offline Adobe Installers. But it does have a “Setup.xml” file stored. Just for reference, I have a Windows 8, 64 bit computer (yes I do want to use the 32 bit version of Adobe Dreamweaver CC on my 64 bit computer).

In conclusion, I just wanted to know what I should do with the new folder (called “Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014.1”) that has been created by the “Dreamweaver_15_LS20.exe” file.

    Thanks in advance!

    • Hello Antonio, Dreamweaver CC 2014.1 (the new native 64-bit release of Dreamweaver, aka version 15) is a special case because Adobe unfortunately left out the setup installer out of the download package…

This isn’t an issue when using the standard CC Desktop App to install the program, but you need an extra step when using the direct links here.

Please see our guidance here for how to take care of it.

  6. Hello,

Downloaded all files for PS CC 2014 to back them up on a memory stick. I tried to install the latest update for Photoshop, but when I mount the dmg-file, there is no install routine, only a folder “Adobe Photoshop CC 2014” and inside that folder, there is another folder “Payloads”.

So what I`m gonna have to do?? My OS is Mavericks 10.9.5

    Hi,

thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, there is no file as you said, in none of the Photoshop CC update dmgs. Could I copy the “AdobePatchInstaller.app” from the Bridge-update 6.1 in the Photoshop-update dmg and use that?

I could send you a screenshot, if you let me know how.

    Regards
    Gunnar

    • That’s odd, because we downloaded and are looking at that same DMG right now, and there’s the AdobePatchInstaller.app in the “Adobe Photoshop CC 2014” folder, right next to “payloads”…

Yes, try copying in the AdobePatchInstaller.app from any other program’s package and use that.

  8. @ProDesignTools

That’s really strange – I just downloaded an update-dmg with Firefox and Safari and both are without any installer!

    Has anybody the same issue?

I’ll try to use the Bridge-Installer.

  9. Hello, with each link I got the message “Access denied”.
The whole message is “You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/LTRM/5_6/osx10/Lightroom_5_CCM_LS11.dmg” on this server.”

Am I the only one ?

    Reply
    • No, it sometimes happens when people click too fast without reading the download instructions first…

If you don’t follow those (required by Adobe), then you will get the message you refer to instead – and the CC direct links won’t work for you.

Please check out the comment just above yours if you need more help.

  10. Hi,
I’ve installed lightroom in a mac running yosemite and it went well, but with photoshop and acrobat, it asks me if I want to try it or if I bought it and the asks me for the serial number… what should i do?

    Reply
    • Hey Berra, the difference is because for most of the CC updates, the patch files just download without needing to do anything beforehand… But it’s different on this page for the original CC 2014 releases/trials, because following the directions is essential. (Sorry, it’s not our decision = that’s just the unusual way that Adobe does it!)

So not sure why it didn’t work for you – did you try with a different web browser or another computer? Usually that takes care of it for folks who run into any issues.

  11. I get an error on every link here……

“can’t establish a connection to the server”

so your click-through is not working…

    Reply
    • Hello Jeff, just tested the links above and they are all working and downloading fine on our end, no problems at all…

Are you blocking or filtering anything with your browser(s) – like cookies, downloads, or any sites or URLs?
Are you running any restriction utilities like Ghostery, AdBlock, or Disconnect?
Do you have a firewall or antivirus program running?

If so, then Adobe recommends temporarily turning them off for the download process… Specifically they advise to disable pop-up blockers, and turn off all firewalls, antivirus software, and third-party security software.

  12. @ProDesignTools

Hi, I found the culprit – “Hola Better Internet”.

This program apparently messed up the network connection (according to the error code from Adobe) when I tried to download from trials3.adobe.com.

Turning off “Hola…” allowed the download to continue as expected.

    • Wow, we’ve never heard of that one before… Thanks for sharing your solution!

It looks like Hola Better Internet is a VPN proxy service – so yes, that could definitely impact the download process.

And since there are no geographic restrictions or limitations for downloading these files, temporarily turning it off would be the right way to go.
