I have the same problem:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/STAM/CS5/win32/MasterCollection_CS5_LS1.exe” on this server.
Reference #18.a5440317.1374449396.c2d4169
I try downloading the MasterCollection_CS5 and I followed the instructions using different browsers. I used firefox and chrome and still get that error.
Please help. I need this program for work. Thanks
Sorry Brian, it happens sometimes that users get locked out of Adobe’s servers, especially after a failed or aborted download…
See #9 on this list of download tips.
I’m just asking this to be sure……this is completely free, right?
Yes Daniel.
Took very long to download file 2 for Flash
It doesn’t work! I am trying to download adobe flash professional cs5. i downloaded the two files for Windows but now it doesn’t work…..
Hi Daniel, what exactly is the problem or message you’re getting, rather than “it doesn’t work?”
Make sure you are carefully following the important download instructions given near the top of this page. Then, if you’re still having any issues, try a different browser, computer, or Internet connection (avoid Wi-Fi).
i keep getting an access denied page, it says i don’t have permission to access the page for photoshop cs5
Access Denied

I am logged into Adobe, yet it still says:

How do I get around this?
I need photoshop cs5! pls put up the free trial
All of these CS5 direct download links continue to work fine here, no problems at all… If you’re having any difficulties, see the comments just above or this previous response for help.
Does this include the 64-bit version?
@ Paul
The CS5 version that is.
Yes, Paul.
I have been trying to download Acrobat 9 Pro after a hardware failure on my office machine. I have downloaded the file four times now and the file will not open. It is as though it is not downloading completely. I get a message asking what program I would like to open the file with and of course nothing does / will work because the completed download file has no extension on it. Any suggestions?
Yes, that can happen sometimes Bruce – see our previous response to Phil for the solution.
Please be aware that you need an Adobe ID in order for it to work. It won’t work if you haven’t signed into Adobe, and have downloaded something and then cancelled it.
That’s the only way it’s going to work.
I just tried downloading the Adobe Acrobat 9 for mac. I followed the instructions, clicked the download tab, signed in successfully, fully downloaded the file but a cryptic message came up when I clicked on the program. I’m not computer savvy so I’m not sure what those symbols meant. All I know is that it didn’t work properly. I’m a young gal who could use someone’s help? :(
Sorry you’re having difficulties… What was the exact text of the message it gave you? We’d need to know that in order to help, and usually if you google that then you’ll find the solution.
Tip for you guys:
1st: Copy the link address for the software you want
2nd: Log in to an Adobe account you have
3rd: Go to the trial page of some Elements product or Lightroom (for example: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/photoshop-elements-downloads.html)
4th: In the address bar, you paste the link address and press [Enter]
Download it and be happy ;-)
I have managed to download InDesign CS5 – but I have come up with a problem – after putting in my serial key, I can not bypass the Adobe ID – when I do put it in, it still will not complete the download. What can I do ???
Not really sure Jane, could you please try explaining that again?
Hi,
I’m trying to download some Adobe CS5 or CS4 trials but I keep getting errors. Since my Machine is 32-bit I can’t install the CS6 trials that I want.
Hey Taylor, make sure you are carefully following the important instructions we give on each download page. If you get stuck, read the post comments near the bottom of any page.
Also note importantly that CS6 requires a 64-bit system only for the Adobe video tools like Premiere Pro and After Effects… All other major applications (like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) will run just fine on a 32-bit machine. This is still true even with the just-launched “CC” release.
The download links have worked as described (you must follow the instructions to the letter). Thx so much for this.
I have an employee who purchased Illustrator CS5.0 about 2 yrs ago but lost his install disks. He was able to recover the license key but Adobe support won’t offer a link to download the original installer nor sell him just the install disks. So hopefully we can use this demo to reinstall his version to his new PC, else we will have to upgrade to the next version. I will try and report back if it worked. I also have two copies of InDesign CS5 installed to PCs and those disks mysteriously vanished too. Dang… I can’t trust some employees these days.
Hi John, Adobe doesn’t carry discs of old versions but if you’re a valid customer with a working serial number then you should be able to use the trials to activate.
It says “Access Denied You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/MDIA/CS5/win32/DesignPremium_CS5_LS1.7z” on this server.”
while downloading design premium cs5 I had to update my flash player which made me close out of Mozilla which cancelled my download of CS5… now I’m denied access.
Sorry BK, sometimes users get locked out of Adobe’s servers especially after a failed or interrupted download…
Basically you have to wait a little while before trying again – see #9 on this list of tips.
What I have learned about Adobe products.
When I spend a lot of money on all your Photoshop programs from 4 thru the CS5 series is that these programs cost a lot and Adobe doesn’t care about support.
Earlier today I explained my problem and was given a link, I got off chat and found that access was denied. I am tired of spending all my time going through your FAQ etc. etc. etc. to solve a simple problem of how to reinstall my CS5 because it stopped working. This isn’t the 1st time I have had problems retrieving a product that Adobe has sold me but it will be my last. I know know you don’t give a damn…and it is time to move on.
Here is the link that did not work. – SHAME ON YOU. – https://prodesigntools.com/trials/PHSP/12/osx10/Photoshop_12_LS1.dmg
Hello Gerry, sorry for your troubles but your anger is misplaced here. You mention solving a simple problem – but did you take the time to read the important download instructions near the top of this page? If not, then these links won’t work for you and you’ll get the message you describe.
We maintain all these direct download links as a convenience and service to our readers… However, it is not an obligation and ultimately it is your responsibility as the owner of the program you lost to always maintain a proper copy or offline backup of your installation files, in the event you ever need to reinstall or move the programs.
We are happy to help in the event that “something happens” and you get stuck or didn’t do that or lost your discs, but the fact is that the vast majority of visitors here have no problem at all.
In any event, good luck to you.
Just wanted to say thank you! Looked everywhere for Indesign CS5 after moving to a new iMac.
The official Indesign Twitter account sent me your link! Thanks again
Great, you’re welcome Karen! Glad to hear it helped you out.
Hello, I’m trying to download Adobe CS5 Design Premium but I get this:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/MDIA/CS5/win32/DesignPremium_CS5_LS1.exe” on this server.

I have the case and serial that I purchased a while back but I lost my disc. Is there anything extra I need to do before downloading?
Thanks
Matt J
Yes Matt, there is – just follow the directions given in the article and you should be fine.
I need help. My computer crashed recently and I lost my Adobe CS6 Premium software. But I can’t find the disc, can you help me with a reinstall? I’m so bummed right now.
Sure Melanie, here you go:
Adobe CS6 Direct Download Links for Windows and Mac OS
Hi There!
Do you have a link for Acrobat 9 Pro for Mac? I just see one for Windows.
Thanks so much!
No, unfortunately not Angela – Adobe only ever offered the free trial of Acrobat 9 on Windows…
However, there is a free trial of Acrobat XI available for Mac.
Hello
I get the access denied message as well when trying to download CS5 Design Premium. I have tried switching browsers. I have tried clearing my cache and all other browser data. I have tried logging in and out of Adobe while clearing the cache. I have downloaded two different download managers for two different browsers. I am running out of options and I really need CS5 for teaching by the end of this week. I have downloaded the files successfully before, so I know how to follow instructions :)
So what do I do?
Best
Mette
Sorry you’re having difficulties Mette… See #9 on this list here for a possible explanation, also check the other 8 suggestions there.
Okay, thanks so much for the reply. @ ProDesignTools
