download links do not work… just always goes to Resume your Adobe Download page, and then whether im signed in prior, or sign in on that page, it always just leads to my account or cs5…

  2. Cmen

Ya i tried everything from all comments on here and still didnt work…
I have never had such a difficult experience with a website (adobe) before…

    but i just downloaded cs5, i thought all cs5 required 64bit but it doesn’t.
Just needed to get adobe flash pro to work on a school project at home.

thanks a lot, till now all worked fine, now its time to install after effects cs4 :))

I Downloaded Adobe After Effects CS5 But My Computer Is 32-Bit It Didnt Allow Me :(

the links do work, i’ve just installed one… basically create a new folder, say desktop – download all the 3 files for that piece of software, then go to rename them and just add a .exe if necessary, and run the app installation

  6. Anonymous

Can this work for a vista 32-bit also?

I’ve been trying to download the Adobe CS4 Master Collection trial for a few days now and I never seem to manage.

I log into the Adobe site, log in, and start the download. It always starts out fine, but somehow it just stops at 4.0GB.

I’ve tried downloading from Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari and Firefox and nothing seems to work. I wonder if the link is broken.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you very much.

    • Hi John, sorry you’re having difficulties… If there are any problems with those files, you’d be the first to mention it.

But these are very large downloads, so the issue may lie elsewhere, and could be something particular to your system, connection, or configuration. First off, make sure you have plenty of disk space and are using a very reliable and fast internet connection – direct with a cable is best, no Wi-Fi and no dial-up etc.

Then we’d suggest reviewing Adobe’s download troubleshooting page to see if anything stands out that may be hindering completion of the transfer.

Also, are you currently running any sort of download manager on your machine? Resuming stopped downloads is actually one benefit of the Akamai Download Manager that Adobe normally uses, but for some reason that application also causes problems on some people’s computers.

But instead you may wish to look through some of the alternative free DLM applications that are highly rated on CNET, which in theory can help make downloading large files easier, and resume an interrupted transfer where it left off.

      Hope this helps!

thx for this great resource! i was able to download the software, no problem but – but no matter the program i try to install, the installer asks for the bundle dvd/cd? guidance please? and thx again:)

Hey! Where is Adobe Ultra? It is not included in Adobe CS3 Master Collection or in CS3 Production Premium! I don’t need any other software… I need only Adobe Ultra CS3. :(

  11. Eemil

Thanks for reply! :) I know that Adobe Ultra CS3 should be in Master Collection but when I downloaded it there I didnt see Ultra in the installation menu :( I have winXP 32bit computer so I cant use Premiere Pro CS5… :(

But I really need some good Green Screen program… I can only find those illegal cracks from the internet but I do not want to download them.

    • Completely understood about having Windows XP and not being able to run the 64-bit parts of CS5 – we get a lot of folks like you here… :)

As for Adobe Ultra CS3, this forum thread should help answer the question. Apparently Ultra is on separate physical disks from the rest of CS3 – so it may well be not included in Adobe’s trial versions. It sometimes happens that not everything is included in the trials, even today – for example, Encore CS5 is not offered in the current Premiere Pro CS5 trial.

However the good news is if you can manage to find a genuine and authentic copy of CS3 still for sale (not a trial), you can still buy the original Ultra.

It’s also smart of you to avoid the unsafe or torrent versions of the program you may find randomly out there – so many of the hacked versions of Adobe products are dangerous and will harm your computer.

      Good luck!

  12. Stephanie

Every time I try to open the Photoshop CS4 trial on my Mac, it says “File not recognized”. I’m pretty sure I’m downloading the right one.

    • Hey there Stephanie, if your Mac balks at mounting the file, then to us that sounds like a bad, corrupt, or incomplete download… According to Apple Support Communities, that error message “dmg not recognized” typically indicates a corrupt or incomplete download. So you could try downloading again using a different browser, computer, and/or Internet connection (no Wi-Fi).

If that doesn’t take care of the problem, and you still get the error message, then it’s likely to be something particular to your system rather than anything to do with the Adobe file itself (see this Google search for similar issues).

Thanks for visiting and hope this works out for you.

    @ProDesignTools

nope. but thx. i was just trying to get dreamweaver cs3 going… i already know cs5 is not compatible with my processor, but i have other cs3 apps and know they are.

  14. Eemil

hmm… I think Adobe Ultra CS3 isn’t any more on sale… Can’t find it on the internet. :(
And I don’t want buy the full CS3 Master Collection or Production Premium because I do not need any other program right now… Only Ultra…

  15. George

Can I pause the download to resume it tomorrow, it’s quite big!

  16. Ofir

I downloaded InDesign CS4 and when i tried opening it, it said that the licensing for this product has expired. is it possible that it was because i didn’t download the file under “extra content”?

  17. Garrett

I have been trying to download AE and i cant seem to get it to work. When i try to download the trial my computer cant find the file.

    • Welcome Garrett, all the Adobe After Effects downloads were just tested here and working fine on our end… What are you seeing more specifically?

Have you carefully followed the 6-step instructions in the article above? Have you cleared your browser cache and/or cookies and retried? How about from a different browser, computer, and/or Internet connection? (not Wi-Fi) Thanks!

Hey, When I want to download after effects CS4, Instead of downloading it, It sends me to adobe site and it tells me to sign in, But I’m already signed in!
    What to do?

  20. Ino

I tried to install it but it doesn’t complete and gives me a message saying “Please insert Adobe After Effects into drive c:\ to continue installation”, how can i fix this, im not sure what to do.

  21. mel

I downloaded photoshop cs4 and it brought me to the “trial version has expired, enter serial number” page. how do i get past this?

  22. ryan

after effects downloads but it says not enough storage

    • Thanks Ryan, you bring out a good point that we should highlight the complete system requirements for After Effects CS4 and CS3.

The reason is because for AE CS4, “1.3 GB of available hard-disk space needed for installation, plus 2 GB of space for optional content; additional free space required during installation [when the temporary files are extracted and uncompressed]” — so please make sure you have plenty of free space available…

If you need to, run a tool (on Windows) like: Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup… Thanks!

  23. Mackenzie

THANK YOU! You saved my life!

  24. Ben

Im sure im compatible with others that have downloaded AE but have a 32 bit comp. Are there any AE software I can download for 32 bit? Please reply with a download link. Cheers

  25. Gustav

Thank you so much! I’ve looking around like a maniac for those files!
