I was able to download File 1 & File 2 for Design Premium CS4 but File 3 either keeps asking me to sign in to Adobe (I’m already signed in or if I sign in it takes me to Adobe’s download page that has nothing but the newer products). If I right click and save “…/Applications/DesignPre/CS4/Win/STDSCS4_Cont_LS4.exe” – I get an option to save dlm.htm (whatever THAT is).
Any advice?
Thank you but I have CS4, sorry I typed CS3 but it’s actually CS4. I already have the license key for a volume license but I cannot locate the media.
I’ve tried to download CS4 and succeeded with File 1 & 2 but File 3 just keeps telling me to log into Adobe even though I’m already logged in. Tried to copy to the URL to download and got some error page “dlm.htm” or something like that.
Hmm, with that filename it sounds like it’s trying to use the Adobe DLM (download manager)… But the good news is that File 3 & 4 are not required for the installation – they are “Additional Content” and optional.
So we’d suggest using the File 1 & 2 that you successfully downloaded, and install from those – then later check back later to see if you have better luck with the extra material (following the download instructions of course)
Sometimes Adobe’s download servers can be temperamental, we see that a lot… Working fine, then asking you to log in again unnecessarily.
Hello everyone, I am looking for the Adobe Design Standard Middle Eastern version, can anyone tell from where I could find a trial version?
Wish we could help Muhammad, so if anyone else knows where to find a safe and legal copy to download from Adobe’s servers, please feel free to post it – thanks.
Thanks, & yes am looking for legal copy of CS3 Middle Eastern.
this doesn’t work for me, the pages are all blank ????? anyone help ?
Hi James, did you carefully follow the download instructions in the post?
@ ProDesignTools
Just wanted to let you know that the CS4 downloads 1 & 2 worked perfectly with my registration key. Adobe wasn’t helpful with the download at all, but they did help me with finding my key. Thank you for having these files available.
@james, the links didn’t work for me at first either. I kept trying them and eventually they did work. It took several restarts of my browser, not sure that had anything to do with my success but it did work. Maybe try a different browser. Firefox worked for me eventually. At first, I kept getting Adobe’s site, telling me to log in, although I made sure I was already logged in. Be sure you are logged into your Adobe account before trying it at all.
@ ProDesignTools
Oh, and I wish you luck with it!
Glad it worked out for you Cindy with reactivating your purchase, and thanks for sharing your tips and good nature.
Now all trials are blocked, we are not able to download any trials !!
Everything’s fine… see Cindy’s comments just above, thanks.
Hey I have checked Adobe’s site only in the server there is available CS3 which Adobe has taken from Macromedia (Flash, Fireworks ETC), those you can download from Adobe & also from this site b/c of Adobe servers – they haven’t changed their URL for these products, so therefore we can download only these… but what about other trials !!! now can you (Mr. ProDesign) do something for us.
Sure Sara, we have the direct download links available for almost all Adobe software of the past five years, including the authentic trials for CS5, CS5.5, Lightroom, Acrobat, Photoshop Elements, etc.
but now I need CS3 trials, can you provide me links ?
but it would be better if you could provide me the Middle Eastern Version, if you can, but if you can’t provide that then English would be better for me also.
Thanks
Hello again Sara, all of the original English Adobe CS3 trials are linked above – in the last table at the bottom of the article.
you should check them yourselves, these links are not working – why don’t you try to download & check, u will be able to understand what I need from you, when I click on Design Standard suite CS3, I see this message, every time.
HTTP ERROR: 404 /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
RequestURI=/support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp ,
CS3, any product when I download I see that.
Sara, all the direct downloads linked here continue to work perfectly fine on our end, so long as one carefully follows the download instructions given in the article above.
Very good answer. I need CS3 & I am able to download only for CS5 after login, well Thanks for every answer. I know I can download direct from Adobe’s site.
Hi, I have tried your instructions, which have previously worked, yet now – with cookies accepted and logged in – I only receive this message:
Http Error 404 /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
What is wrong here? These used to work before…
Welcome back Mark, it sounds like you’re doing the right things per the instructions in the post… But sometimes folks do have challenges downloading from Adobe’s servers, it can be unpredictable. However, everything continues to work fine from our end with no problem accessing these trials.
So we’d suggest trying a different browser, computer, and/or Internet connection and see if that helps. Or read Kate’s earlier comments, the things she tried, and the series of replies which follow – and hopefully that will help you get going.
Well… it’s still not working with IE… Idk what to do here. I’m logged in and everything. Firewall isn’t blocking IE or Firefox.
Same message.
” HTTP ERROR: 404 /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
RequestURI=/support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp “
Also, do you know if there are any links to Photoshop 7 from Adobe’s older links? My friend bought me a copy in high school, but I don’t have the discs anymore… It’s installed on my old toshiba laptop- 1.87 ghz single core, 1gb ram… ah the good old days… lol. It’s a shame it reboots randomly or I wouldn’t have had to buy this computer lol.
Or likewise, is there any way for me to move the install of Photoshop from my old laptop to my new one?
Hey – Just an update.
I hadn’t changed anything, and it’s still not working in IE, but Firefox (the initial attempts) seems to be working now. IDK what the heck made it decide to work.
Thanks for trying.
Glad you got it working Mark. Yes, the downloads from Adobe servers can occasionally be unpredictable. If we could figure out why it didn’t work sometimes, we would have a lot fewer comments here. But basically, you just have to keep trying, usually after waiting a bit later – and then starting over again with the instructions, and/or trying a different browser or computer.
On Photoshop 7… Sorry, that’s too far back – this page here has the oldest direct links that we have put together. You can move Adobe software between computers but it requires an install package either on original disc or file download.
Hi – Thanks so much for the old CS3 links. Worked perfectly and saved me about $400. I have a new laptop but had lost my install disk and was looking at an unnecessary upgrade unless I found a trial version online. Used my original serial number and it worked perfectly.
Also for others reading here, clicking on the links (in any browser) did not work for me. I right clicked and used the Save Link As to download the exe file.
Greetings Karen, glad to hear it worked out and helped get back your older software, we get quite a few customers in that situation here… Thanks for letting us know!
Hi,
Tried the links for CS4 (particularly Photoshop) – I’m getting the same error as the other users.
Tried this on IE/FFox/Chrome – all giving the same result….
HELP!
Hi Raj, please see Mark’s comments and responses just above, hopefully that will get you past that – thanks.
quick question: i downloaded the trial version of AE CS4 without the extra content and made a project and exported it and the html document says multiple or unsupported events, so i want to download the extra content but don’t know how to install it?
Hey there John – you should just be able to run File 1, the .exe of the additional Functional Content – and then that will typically put a new directory on your Desktop… and then there are ReadMe and Setup.exe files within that directory.
Hello,
I always do this, I tried the CS5 and 5.5 InDesign and created some great resume documents that took me ages.
Just noticed I have to alter some dates in the documents and I have tried to use my friend’s old CS3 InDesign but none of the INDESIGN files nor PDF will open. What’s more none of my FONTS are appearing in the CS3 trial.
PLEASE HELP ME
thank you
Hello again Alex, normally you can’t open newer InDesign files with older InDesign software versions… You need to export or downsave the file first, and may lose some features. See:
Using Multiple Versions of Adobe InDesign
I have followed all of the directions to install InDesign CS4. Now that the files have been downloaded to my computer, I am prompted “Installer Database is corrupt” when I attempt to open the file. Help!!
Sorry you’re having difficulties with that Tiffany… For that error message, try the solutions recommended here.
It wasnt working for me a few hours a go but it is working now.
I downloaded Dreamweaver CS3 and it seemed to complete the download but now I have a file called ADBEDRWVCS3_WWE that has no file type suffix. Any ideas what to do with the file, or did the download get corrupted?
