  1. Hello, I cannot download Soundbooth CS4 – it says:

    Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/Applications/Soundbooth/CS4/Win/ADBESBTHCS4_LS7.7z?” on this server.
    Reference #18.645832b8.1534485726.1013f20

do you have a saved copy that you can share?

    • Well, you need to follow the download directions given in the post above, before clicking on the links.

That’s required by Adobe’s servers; otherwise the CS3/CS4 direct links won’t work and you’ll get an access/permissions denied message instead. If you still have any difficulties, then try a different web browser, another computer, or Internet connection.

    • Why not – what happened exactly? Just tested and all those old links still download OK for us here. However they are all unsupported and may not work on newer operating systems.

  2. Hello folks, i already had downloaded Premiere Pro CS4 from this site.
But that contained a virus. So i was confused and i downloaded it again. I downloaded the Trial versions of Premiere Pro CS4, both the files (Product Trial) File1 and File2 and installed. But my anti-virus showed a malware in both the files. It was “desktoplayer.exe” malware, believe me it is a very nasty virus. It doesn’t go away as you think it would.
Anti-Virus couldn’t delete it. It could only warn me. From there i uninstalled it.
If you think you have this virus in your pc, Do one thing.
See if there is a folder by the name of Microsoft in C:\Program Files (both 32- and 64- bit).
Also see if there is a file by the name of “desktoplayer.exe” in this folder. It will also create another exe file by the name of “desktoplayerSrv.exe”.
If you see this, then your pc is infected.
So far there are few topics that tell you how remove it. But that is different story.
So i downloaded the same file for (Western Europe) region. From the Second link.
That was free of virus and it didn’t even ask for “Enter Serial”. That was fine.
But beware of Creative Suite 4 Trials (English), the first link.
I bet the people who are using this link, even their pc is already infected by this virus.
It’s not devastating, but it attacks any exe file, not all but programs that are light and will create another “XXXSrv.exe” file. It just multiplies and multiplies.
Rendering your exe file useless, the PC will say it is a corrupted file.
Don’t mind that this is a little long.
Don’t not blindly download and install anything.

p.s: I am trying to warn the people and i think you should re-upload those files too.
It’s laid down with a virus.

    • Sorry, you are mistaken. You may well have had a virus on your computer, but you definitely did not get it from any downloads on this page, or from anywhere on our website.

We are not a pirate site, and do not offer cracks or hacks of Adobe software… We have never offered illegal or unauthorized downloads, and never will.

These are direct links to download the original installers from Adobe’s own servers. Everything linked here is absolutely authentic and legitimate. We can not “re-upload those files,” because they always come straight (and only) from adobe.com. End of story.

So you must be confusing us with a “warez” site somewhere – which is probably where you picked up your virus from, because that’s very common. Or, if you got Adobe’s trial installer via our site, but then downloaded & ran some sketchy keygen or cracking tool that you found elsewhere.

PS – Just to triple-check, we downloaded the two Premiere Pro CS4 file links that you’re referring to and ran them through 3 different anti-virus programs. Absolutely nothing there and completely clean, as totally expected – because they come from Adobe’s own servers.

  3. Hello ProDesign, thank you for accepting my post.
I totally agree; you are not a pirate site. I am not questioning your authenticity and your work ethics. I am on your side too. I’ll take your word and believe what you say, when it comes straight from adobe.com.
I am aware a user can get a setup file from anywhere, especially if its a warez site.
But i downloaded your Premiere Pro CS4 file because it can run on a 32bit machine. After CS4 and above, it is available only for a 64bit machine.

I am so sorry; i forgot to mention, the bootstrapper file which is only 1.17 MB in size: from the first link. i.e.,File 1.
When i run it; it say “The file archive part of Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Installer is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe Premiere Pro Cs4 Installer. Please download all parts.”
After this message, i did not know what to do. But i downloaded from the File 2 link.
Then it downloads the file which is 1.2GB by the name ADBEPPROCS4_LS7.7z
You must have checked the file by some anti-virus, but the idea is not to scan the file.
But run and install it and then run the program.
That is when it creates a file by the name desktoplayer.exe and xxxsrv.exe.
The anti-virus is not able to detect it, only after it is created would it notify the user. If left unchecked it will multiply again and again. It’s not devastating.
Believe me, some program were infected and i couldn’t use those programs. After restoring my PC over a months time. My system is clean, i use an anti-virus especially only for USB and i also use a Anti-executable program. Then i have a Restoring Program too. Which allows me to restore to previous a clean state any time.
The Anti-executable will notify before running any exe file.
And i remember the name of that infected file. But now my system is clean.
I thought i would give you and other users a heads-up.
Sorry i wasn’t clear, it’s from the File2 link. which is in .7z format file.
Please just do not scan it, install and then run the exe file.

    Then check your c:\Program Files\
If there is a folder by the name of Microsoft, enter that folder and see if there is a desktoplayer.exe file.
If u see that, then your PC is infected too.

    Kind regards.

P.s: That virus is not devastating, but it multiplies over time. Any small program will be infected, and will render it useless. I think you should install that file and see for yourself.

    • All the .exe file (File 1) does is extract the files in the .7z archive (File 2) to a folder of your choosing, typically on the Desktop… You can just as easily use a utility like 7-Zip instead of the .exe file.

Then the actual CS4 program is installed from the new folder that’s created on your Desktop. You can easily see what’s in that folder, which are all the files that will be installed for the program. And there is absolutely no file by the name you’re claiming.

Listen, we’re not doubting that your computer had a virus. However, we’re absolutely certain that it didn’t come from here, or from any link on our site. Not unless you’re insisting that Adobe themselves put a virus in the download on their own server. And, of the many thousands of people who have used this webpage to access the CS4 links since 2010, that you’re the only one who makes such a claim. Nobody else has ever had any problem at all.

As you can see, there are over 2,000 comments on this post since 2010… We’ve read every one of them. Not a single one of them has ever had any issue.

No, there is no danger here. You must have picked it up somewhere else, and it infected your Adobe install – as well as all the other .exe’s on your system, which you clearly acknowledge.

Appreciate your trying to help, but it’s not actually helpful.

    • OK, go to our Adobe CS6 Direct Download Links here.

Then, carefully follow the important “Download Instructions” given on that page. Otherwise, you will get an “Access Denied” message and not be able to access the installers.

Next, right-click on the direct link for Flash Builder 4.7, and copy the text of that URL (i.e., the link location).

Finally, paste that URL into your browser’s address bar, but change both occurrences of “7” to “6” – and that should get you Flash Builder 4.6 instead of version 4.7.

Please let us know if that helps and works for you!

  4. Hi! Thank you for the advice! It worked to download Flash Builder 4.6!

I saw win32 in the URL… does this mean that this is a 32bit version and that there is no 64bit version?

    Reply
    • Yes.

There is no problem and no danger. The direct download links above go to the authentic and secure files residing on Adobe’s servers, are guaranteed genuine, 100% safe and legal.

  5. Every time I click one of the CS4 links, I’m directed to an Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 download page. Are the links for the CS4 and CS3 trials gone forever?

    Reply
  6. Hello, I have an question about the downloads. Do you get here only an trial version or are they downloads for the full version of the programs and can I use them forever?

    Reply
    • These links are for both the free trials as well as the full versions, depending on whether you have a valid authorized serial number.

In other words, these downloads can be activated for ongoing use without having to reinstall the software.

However, many direct download links were taken down by Adobe – please see our previous response, just above your comment.

  7. How is it possible that a company can stop usage of an application already purchased? That seems illegal, or at best unethical. I hope Toyota doesn’t just shut down my car and force me into buying a new one and force me to make never-ending monthly payments.

What if I was happy with the features of the product in the version I purchased (thus the reason I purchased it) and don’t want to be forced into a subscription model that requires me to continue paying money every month to use a product I should own – a product that I already owned?

Even if you have the original disks, the serial number, and activation number you still can’t reinstall the CS products because Adobe has shut down the server to get an authorization code.

  8. Hi, I successfully installed CS3 but every time I try to open Acrobat pro, it crashes. What could be the reason. My system is i7 32gb with tons of free space.

    Reply
    • Sorry – you can no longer reinstall Creative Suite 2 or 3 even if you have the original installation disks or installers… The aging activation servers for those apps had to be retired.

For more details, see the help links given in our previous reply just above.

  9. Have legally purchased a copy of CS4 Design Premium for Mac through Adobe. Need to install on a new Mac computer, but do not have the installer and cannot find one anywhere. Is there any way to get an installer so we can use our serial # and install? Please help, cannot afford a newer version, and am happy with CS4.

  10. I cannot find the installer exe file in any of the folders. I click on English and the only sub-folders to open are Documentation and Goodies. Any suggestions? Thanks In Advance

    Reply
    • It sounds like you downloaded the “Extra Content” rather than the application installer itself… Make sure to pay attention to the column headings in the links table above.

  11. I was able to get the right folders. Thank You.
I started to run the setup and the process stopped and a message appeared in a dialogue box on my screen:

    “Setup Error
Set up has encountered an error and cannot continue. Contact Adobe customer support for assistance.”

Any idea what the issue is? Thanks!

    Reply
    • Sure, here is hopefully the answer:

“Launch the installer for a second time and you should not encounter the error again.”

If that doesn’t work, then try the suggestions given in our previous reply here.

If still no luck, then what is the operating system and version you are trying to install it on?

Also try googling the exact text of the error message you got. That may provide a solution.
