I would give it away to a special person in my life.
I am currently using Lightroom 3. Am not certain I will upgrade. Need to see the benefits first
At age 70, I’m trying to learn all I can and improve on my photography. I do not have Lightroom, nor have I tried it, but I would love to do so.
I’ve run the LR4 beta and really like the new tools and features of the Development Module. Very intuitive; better results than prior LR versions.
Planning to upgrade from Lightroom 3 to 4.
I am still learning and don’t have any good software but I would love to be able to grow and improve on such an incredible product.
I too am 70, but active as a prosumer photographer, a computer person, and a NASM tour guide (Docent.)
This stuff is not rocket science. I advise loading it up and then gradually begin to use it. You’ll find yourself asking “Hmmm…it should be able to do [this.]” Then look for the features that might make that happen. Also, find the video tutorials on the Adobe site and start viewing them.
Once a bit of time has passed, you’ll find yourself very confident in your use of Lightroom. Now that the price has come down to a reasonable level, many more folks will be starting to use it…so you are in good company.
I plan to use the new highlight and shadow tools in Adobe Lightroom 4. I have used LR since version 2.
I plan to buy it. I’m using version 3
I would love to win the new LIghtroom 4, I would give one to a dear friend who lives overseas and is an avid photographer looking to grow. The other copy I would use to be able to teach her long distance and help get her going in Lightroom. I currently use LIghtroom 3 and CS5. :)
We’re delighted to announce the winners of the Adobe Lightroom 4 Giveaway, our second of many for 2012…
Our lucky readers drawn are Shannon Comstock from Woodbridge, Virginia, and Harry from Vantaa, Finland!
A big congratulations to both winners, who will be receiving brand new boxed copies of Photoshop Lightroom 4.
Thank you all once again for being part of our 12th sweepstakes, and if you didn’t win this time don’t worry – please make sure to enter our new Photoshop CS6 + Lightroom 4 Giveaway!
I was a beta tester on the first edition of Lightroom and fell in love with the program. I was also a beta tester of the lastest Lightroom 4 and once again amazed at the improvements and the ease of use. This would be a welcome addition to my productivity and workflow as a photographer.
I don’t really have any version of Lightroom, but I know that Adobe has great photo editing software, because I have used Adobe’s Photodeluxe, Photoshop, and Photoshop Elements, from previous early versions. So I know for sure that Lightroom is no exception on the quality of these types of software that Adobe has to offer. I am thrilled by this giveaway and I am already giddy about the idea of maybe getting Lightroom at some point when I can actually afford it, or win it – whichever comes first.
I have been into photo editing since 1998, and this would be an amazing software program to have and see what amazing photos I can enhance with it.
When will the contest be over?
Hi Donna, this drawing ended in early March and the two winners are posted just above…
However, our Photoshop CS6 + Lightroom 4 Giveaway is still open if you’re interested!
Time for a career change…just lost my job. Time to pursue a passion? Need software. Please!
I could use the software. Using my time from a major health event and recovering. With minimal insurance using the time photography to make ends meet. LR4 would be a great asset.
I plan on using it to enhance pictures.
eu quero ganhar uma copia. é a primeira vez que eu vou ter um se ganhar.
