  1. I plan to use Lightroom for a Wedding that I will be attending. Since I am not a professional photographer, I will shoot the photos and retouch them using Lightroom 3.

  2. I am currently using the LR4 Beta (I own LR3.6). The new improvements in the develop module are fantastic. The new CA button works great; highlight and shadow sliders really allow for expanded dynamic range and the brush with NR is fantastic!

  3. • Have you run the beta or seen the new features in LR4? Which is your favorite?

Love the soft proofing, that will save me time going out to Photoshop for the final proofing and printing!

  4. I use LR 3 and plan to upgrade. Working with LR 4 Beta I’ve noticed that previously-edited photos appear to be better in this new version.

  5. I’ve not yet had the opportunity to try or use this program but I keep reading about it here and would really like to try it. I will be downloading the free beta version.

  6. How exciting!!!

Well, as of right now I am using LR 2 and have been wanting to upgrade since then, but just cannot afford to at the moment and this would be a HUGE help!

I would use it like I do the old one, fixing up photos for my blog/site and for a future brother/sister photography business! :)

I know I was only supposed to answer one, but hey…why not!?

Thanks for hosting this giveaway and hope whoever wins is greatly blessed.

  7. Currently using LR 3.6, and will definitely move up to version 4. And FWIW, the updated develop controls are what I’m after most, with soft proofing coming in second.

  8. Yes, I plan on updating to V4 of Lightroom. I have read several reviews of Beta, but have not tried it myself. I currently have version 3 and I will continue to use 4 for all my photo needs also.

  9. I just downloaded a trial version so I could take a one day course on Lightroom. I also checked out what’s new in LR4 and am currently waiting to purchase it. I was so impressed with what the program does…I had no idea!

If I win a copy I would be soooo happy and I think it would complement my copy of CS5 so I could improve on my photography in a big ADOBE way!

  10. I definitely am interested in LR 4 – the fine-tuning of the Exposure panel is my #1 must-have, and the introduction of some video editing makes me want to try some HDSLR Video as well.

  11. Using Photoshop + iPhoto. Won’t be buying, because I can’t afford anything. Free would be nice! Feature I’m looking forward to? It not being iPhoto!

  12. I am currently using Lightroom 3 and plan to upgrade to Lightroom 4. Have not used the Beta version, but have read good reviews especially about the improvements to the Develop Module.

  13. I never owned or used Lightroom because I thought it was like Bridge, but I have been hearing a lot about it and want to give it a go to keep my photos organized. I love this giveaway, thanks and have a great weekend.

  14. Yes, I plan to upgrade to Lightroom 4. Currently running 3.
I have run the beta, love the new features. The new sliders in the Develop module are much better.
I could do more in Lightroom and less in Photoshop with the new version, saving time.
