I’ve been using the Dreamweaver CS6 trial for the past 10 days. Looking with a sad face at 20 days remaining then my wallet to see if I’ve got $200 to blow on a hobby. But I love the ability to sync my folder on my laptop with the FTP end of the server with a simple click of a button. I can program offline all day long. When I get to an area with Internet, 1 click of the button and then I can view my newly published site right away!
My favorite features are the new content aware tools and the mercury graphics engine.
i love everything about cs6, it is the way it should be
Content aware updates
I’m looking forward to utilizing Image Trace in Illustrator and Liquid Layout in In Design.
My favorite feature is the content aware patch tool. So coolio!
In Dreamweaver, the “Updated PhoneGap Build” looks fantastic. I’d love the opportunity to build and package better native mobile apps with updated support! Plus, the PS tools ~ my oh my!
Love the Content-aware patch. But Eric has said it all.
Wasn’t content aware already in CS5? @ProDesignTools
Yes Jesse, indeed a content-aware fill tool was in Photoshop CS5, but they’ve made some nice improvements plus added new content-aware move, extend, and patch features to PS CS6.
Content-Aware is awesome!
The content aware selection/patch, very cool, very smart.
Gradients on strokes
I haven’t had an opportunity to use the new CS6 Design and Web Premium Suite yet so I need to win it to use it and then I can tell you!
Sure Jan, or just download the free trial which will run fully on your system for 30 days.
Content-Aware Move, Extend, and Patch Tools in Photoshop
Liquid Layout is my favorite for InDesign and all the content aware tools in Photoshop
Dashed strokes and Layer Styles on Groups
content aware patch :)
I like the expanded mercury engine support.
First, and the most important one is the Adaptive Wide Angle in Photoshop, then the huge Adobe Camera RAW 7.1 improvements. But those are only the topmost. I am also really enjoying many of the changes in the video support and processing. As always Adobe manages to really raise the bar with each and every release and puts the plugin authors at hard times since slowly most of the features I’ve been depending on plugins to solve are now integrated in the CS6 suite.
Content Aware Patch, Move and Extend in PS. Can’t wait to try it! Wait, Video capability too..
Favorite features – Photoshop: Mercury Graphic Engine; Illustrator: Gradients on Strokes; InDesign: Alternate Layouts.
I love the darker interface, it’s about time!
I love that you can now create PDF forms right in InDesign.
I don’t know what my favorite feature is because I haven’t used it but would love to have CS6, I understand it is an amazing tool. PSE just doesn’t cut it for me any longer, not enough tools. I need more creativity by using CS6. So Pick Me!
Mercery graphics engine for total CS6 Speed!
