I use Lightroom 3 right now and I plan to upgrade to 4.
I have Lightroom 3 and plan to upgrade to Lightroom 4
I have used lightroom since it first came out and love it.
I will be buying lightroom 4 and would have used the Beta if I had known how to get it. I would of course prefer to win a copy of Lightroom 4 ;-))
Hi Sheila, here’s how to easily download the free Beta of Lightroom 4.
Hi. I’m currently using LR3 and have tried LR4 Beta. I will definitely upgrade. Probably my favorite feature of the new version is the ability to use the targeted adjustment brush to reduce noise and moire. The Book module is my next favorite.
I’d like to use it for sorting through my images (sometimes thousands per event) and help me organize them better than I do with just Windows’ import app.
Currently have lightroom 3 and will definetly upgrade to lightroom 4.
I’ve installed the v 4 beta and am just playing around with it now (i’m not a lightroom user), I do like the creative filters – the polaroid and old film looks!
I have been a satisfied Photoshop Elements user and I am now ready to move up to Lightroom. I have downloaded the Beta version of Lightroom 4. So far, I have been impressed with the program’s capabilities. I am particularly interested in the Book Module. The white balance brush and the highlights and shadow recovery features are great. Photography is my hobby and I intend to use Lightroom 4 to do most of my photo-editing work.
Completely new to LR but have the LR4 beta going. Just starting to learn the software and would love to win a full copy!! Thanks for the chance!!
Photographer who uses Lightroom 3 and Photoshop
I currently use Lightroom 2 and wonder if I can go directly from Lightroom 2 to Lightroom 4 skipping Lightroom 3 entirely?
Yes Donald – you will be able to do this if you like with LR4, just like now you can upgrade two steps from LR1 to LR3…
Although for new owners, buying LR3 right now at half-price is still a good strategic move.
I have only used LR here and there, I normally use Photoshop so I would love to have LR to better organize my photos.
I actually do not have lightroom but have been researching it and really want to get this! Not sure if I should take advantage of the sales on LR3 or wait till LR4. Would totally be able to use this in editing my pictures and hope I win!
when does the contest end? This is very exciting to whoever wins especially! lol
Hey there Donna, it’s open until 11:59pm EST on Saturday, March 3rd – and we’ll contact the winners the next day.
Have LR3 Trial right now, Will buy, and then upgrade to 4 I guess, as I only have a few days left.
Do not own LR but would like to purchase it soon. I do have PS Elements. I am downloading the beta to try.
Just bought Lightroom 3… Would love LR 4 from what I see.
I purchased LR3 a few months back and plan on upgrading Photoshop first, then LR.
I do not currently have lightroom but am looking to purchase it to use for my recipe blog.
I notice that the new version of Lightroom includes integration with Blurb for book production. I have produced a couple of books with Blurb, using Lightroom first to prepare to images. Greater integration between the two would make producing books a great deal easier for me. I would love that.
I have lightroom 2 currently and have downloaded lightroom 4 beta. I was absolutely amazed at the difference in speed and general refinements. My favourite new feature is the ability to locally adjust white balance. I would definitely like to upgrade to this.
I have LR3 and have updated it to 3.5, as of now I do not plan on purchasing LR4 but would love to win a copy :)
I have tried Lightroom 3 and am about to try Lightroom 4 Beta. I always shoot in RAW format with my Canon 5D Mark II, and appreciate Lightroom’s easily used post-shooting development controls to handle mistakes in white balance and shadow enhancement features. From the reviews of LR 4 Beta it looks like those controls will be even better with the newer version.,
@ProDesignTools
I thought the 50% only was for the full version and not the LR3 upgrade
Yes, that’s right Donald – good point… We’ve made it clearer on that above – thanks.
I plan to upgrade from LR3 to LR4 as soon as I can accumulate the requisite moolah.
