Well I’ve downloaded this multiple times. all with success until i go to use it. it says the serial number key is being used by more than two computers. it says i must deactivate 2 computers or get a new serial key. HELP! need this for a photo class. thanks
Hi Katie, the message is correct – each CS6 license can be installed and activated on up to two computers…
You have to deactivate and move the software if you want to put it on a third system.
However, all of these free trials will run fully for 30 calendar days on each new machine you put them on, before requiring purchase of a valid and non-conflicting license.
When I click the install icon, it initializes installer, then prompts “installer failed to initialize”
Hey there Ali, we recommend following the suggestions given in this Adobe Help Forum, and/or googling that message together with the program name.
i want to download the adobe cs6 master collection
Well, it’s here so you came to the right place.
Hi There – first of all, thank you so much for the direct links – it’s an amazing time saver.
I have a question about an option for Arabic/Hebrew as RTL languages supported by Web & Design CS6 –
Which Version do I have to download in order to get RTL languages support – English or Western Europe?
Thanks ahead
@ProDesignTools
What is the LS Number for Arabic/Hebrew ?
Well DCS, it’s actually separate – but here you go: the Middle Eastern versions of CS6 supporting Arabic, Hebrew, and more.
Thank you for this site. I called Adobe support and had no help in finding where to download CS6. I really don’t want to pay subscriptions, only pay once and then the software is mine….
Great, glad to help Helle – but be aware that Adobe has only promised to keep CS6 supported for one operating system update on PC/Mac – and that update has already happened.
In other words, if the next releases of Windows and Mac OS come out (say within a year or so) and CS6 does not fully work on them, then you are out of luck… CS6 is from April 2012 and Adobe says they are focusing all their innovation and support on the new CC release.
Nothing is forever in technology without active, ongoing support.
I click on the install icon, it initializes, then prompts me with, “installer failed to initialize”. I tried to uninstall CS6 and CC thought Utilities>Adobe Installers (which I previously tried downloading and that too, prompts me with, “Adobe application manager is needed to uninstall..,” Adobe application manager is needed to resolve this problem, however it is missing or damaged. Download a new copy…”
I did exactly that, but no Application manager appears after downloading. How do I resolve this never-ending cycle of road blocks?
Sorry you’re having difficulties Ally. Try running the Adobe CS/CC Cleaner Tool, rebooting your system, and starting/installing again.
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/STAM/CS6/win32/MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.7z” on this server.

Yes, that will happen if/when the download instructions above aren’t carefully followed.
Then if you still have any difficulties, try a different web browser, computer, or Internet connection… Avoid Wi-Fi as it can be slow and unreliable; these are large files so use a fast wired connection (with a cable) instead.
But regardless, you’ve still got to follow the directions in the article.
Lastly, we put together a list of suggestions if you get stuck.
I clicked on the link to download, but access denied. Please advise.
Ditto to previous reply.
I am trying to download the free trial for Photoshop CS6 and it is saying I cannot because of Reference #18.55654361.1389834196.4573856. Help!!!!
Hi Abby, see our response just a couple comments above yours.
I downloaded the 7zip file for CS6 Design Premium Windows English, but 7zip cannot extract the file, giving the error – “0 Can not open file [name] as archive.” Any ideas on why this would happen?
No, sorry Richard – you don’t need to use the 7-Zip utility (or anything else) to install these downloads, just the .exe that’s already listed above… So we are unfamiliar with any messages that 7-Zip might give.
If you download and run the .exe file (File 1) here above on Windows, and then post or google any messages you get, that might help more.
Otherwise, the only thing we could suspect is a partial, incomplete, or corrupted download.
Was able to dowload the .7z and .exe files for CS6. When I run the .exe, it seems to be extracting files but then gives this message:
“A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and the write privileges of the destination folder.”
I have >800GB free and no write restrictions that I can detect. Same happens whether I use IE10 or Firefox to download the files.
Then if I try to run the AdobeCS6\Set-up.exe from the aborted extraction, I get “Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem.”
Did this, but it doesn’t detect the problem.
I’m running Win7 x64 and installed 7Zip x64 before doing this (don’t know if that matters.)
Hey Lee, sorry you’re having difficulties. For that first message regarding write privileges, see this previous discussion for some suggestions…

that’s the message i got. not sure if it’s the machine here at work that’s having access issues, or if it’s because i’m in south africa, sigh
oh. never mind, i just read above
just a head’s up. i had trouble while using chrome. then used firefox and it worked
Hi there,
I’m getting access denied when I click on the File 1 above for the CS6 Design and Web premium I purchased.
All filters are off on the Firefox browser, I’m logged into Adobe.com and I have downloaded Acrobat XI Pro.
What am I doing wrong?
Hello Sandy, try a different web browser while still following the step-by-step download directions very carefully.
You could also try reading through some of the comments above for solutions from others who’ve had occasional issues.
I am trying to download the CS6 trial for a certification I am taking. However, when I downloaded it the first time it failed as I was downloading another program at the same time. I have waited 2 days now and I still get a permission not granted error when I click on the files to download.
What should I do? I need to have it on this computer.
Greetings Johanna, sometimes after a failed or aborted download (as you said one stopped), this can happen – you get seemingly “locked out” from Adobe’s servers…
Usually, the only solution is… time. Two days is usually enough – so that’s surprising. But wait a while longer before trying again, and then follow the instructions in the article to start over.
Read #5 on this list of download suggestions to see what we’re talking about. That list also contains some other things you can try.
For example, you could try using a different web browser, or another computer (and copy the files over on a flash drive or compact disc).
Hope this helps!
I see this message:

Hi Kino, please see this previous reply to Ryan.
I already have Adobe Photoshop Elements 12, do I need to install this older version to do this Adobe Photoshop Online Certification Program?
Welcome Michele, you are talking about different product categories… The certification programs are doubtlessly for Photoshop CS6 (found here), or Photoshop CC.
There are substantial differences between those and Photoshop Elements, which is scaled down and less powerful.
I continue to receive “Access Denied” pages even after thoroughly following the instructions (i.e. logging into my Adobe account via multiple mediums–both the Adobe website AND download assistant–to set the cookies) MULTIPLE times. I’m surprised these links work for ANYONE.
Sorry you’re having difficulties… Only a tiny fraction of visitors ever have problems. It’s possible you’ve gotten locked out of Adobe’s servers for a bit, which happens sometimes. Try a different browser for a start. We’d also suggest taking a look through this list of download tips.
i need speedgrade 32-bit
Sorry, Adobe SpeedGrade is 64-bit-only, like all the rest of Adobe’s pro video/audio tools (Premiere, AE, Audition and Prelude).
which is the trial link
They’re all free trial links.
I tried to download Photoshop CS6 trial version, and I successfully downloaded file 1 “english” for Windows but the second file downloaded but didn’t work. I put both files in the same folder and it still says that the “file archive part of Adobe CS6 is missing.” I have Windows 7. Why isn’t it working?
Thanks
THE ANSWER IS (I figured it out) that some downloads are downloaded under a different name, a “(1)” is added or something extra at the end – so rename the file and delete the extra characters and leave the title only, and make sure to end it with no spaces and “.exe” or “.7z” — WHICHEVER THE EXTENSION OF THE FILE IS ORIGINALLY.
Hello Addys, that does happen sometimes and glad you figured it out quickly.
Is this official Adobe website?
Hey there Sasha, this may help answer your question.
