I’ve got Flash CS6 downloaded, but it’s giving me an error that says: “The following disk images couldn’t be opened. Reason: Not recognized.” Can you help me out?
Hey Ted, sounds like you got an incomplete or corrupted download – see here for more details…
Try again with a stronger connection (and avoid Wi-Fi).
It still gives me an access denied, and I am logged in to adobe.
Well, being logged in isn’t enough – you also need to follow the download instructions in the article above or the direct links won’t work. If you don’t, then you’ll get that exact message.
Then if you still have any difficulties, try a different web browser, computer, or Internet connection… Avoid Wi-Fi as it can be slow and unreliable; these are large files so use a fast wired connection (with a cable) instead.
Finally, we put together a list of suggestions if you get stuck.
Cannot download trial of PS CS6 for online course. Downloaded Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. Logged into Adobe account. Clicked on download in article above and received error “You do not have permission to download onto this server. Reference # 18.4b2b1d8.1386428709.c924756” What do I need to do now to download the trial version? Thanks!
Not sure – we just tested those direct links again and they work fine on our end, no problems at all and fast download time… Try again with a different browser or computer, while still carefully following the instructions.
Where is Encore CS6?
Encore is part of the Premiere Pro CS6 download, and comes with that application as well as included with the Creative Cloud.
Same here… I think Adobe has finally nuked access to legacy downloads in pursuit of their CC distribution. I’ve depended on this portal for years. :/
Thanks for counting on us, but not to worry – all is well, and all the direct links continue to work fine.
I can not download the CS6 design standard suite. It downloads to about 2 gigs and then stops. I’ve tried on a number of computers and the same thing. Please help.
Not sure Bryan, everything works fine on our end – the download is fast and complete… Try taking a look at the previous comments and solutions posted.
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/PPRO/6/win32/PremierePro_6_LS7.7z” on this server.

What is wrong.
Well, if you carefully follow the step-by-step download directions given in the post above then you won’t receive that message.
I’ve followed all the steps carefully, but I still get the message saying “The following disk images couldn’t be opened. Reason: Not recognized.”. Help? I desperately need Flash Professional CS6!
I got it to work!!!! I’m so relieved!
after effects cs6 installer failed
Hi, do you have more details? An error message or anything?
Sorry, can’t help unless we know more about the problem you’re having.
All of the links are broken…they no longer work. I get the message:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/PHSP/13/win32/Photoshop_13_LS16.exe” on this server.

Tried everything you said. Whoever made this page should fix all of the links :/ None of them work.
Not true… Just tested them yet again and they all work fine. The CS6 files downloaded right away with one click.
Most people who have difficulty here just haven’t followed the essential download directions carefully enough, each step to the letter.
Downloading Adobe Premiere***
I can download link 2
but when I download link 1 it say’s something about an archive file not being there.
Do i have to wait for this file 2 to be done?
Hey there, see these earlier comments on why you could be getting that message, and how to address it.
Do I need to download the whole file ? like Photoshop ? It has two files. Do I really need to download both ?
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
@ProDesignTools
Same issues as others: Cannot download trial of PS CS6 for online course. Downloaded Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. Logged into Adobe account. Clicked on download in article above and received error “You do not have permission to download onto this server. Reference # 18.4b2b1d8.1386428709.c924756″ What do I need to do now to download the trial version? Thanks!
Trinija, if you continue facing difficulties you may want to try a different browser or computer. Some user’s security settings, antivirus programs, toolbars, or add-ons can make it challenging to complete the download directions successfully.
The links work fine for the overwhelming majority of people here… But as with most things web-related, it is always best to try in two separate browsers if you are not getting the desired results.
Hi,
I’ve downloaded both files for Photoshop CS6 fine. But now the installation has been stuck at 21% for over an hour and it has gone from 400mins remaining to 600mins remaining!
Is there an issue with the installation or is this normal?
Thanks!
Hard to say Shakil, we’ve never heard of anything like that before… Did it complete? Does your computer meet the CS6 Minimum System Requirements?
I download Photoshop CS6 just fine. However when I open the program, the option of “continue your trial” is not selectable. Can only click on “License this software.”
I only had a trial of Photoshop CC before, wasn’t this one supposed to work?
Yes Jimmy, in theory you should be able to run a free trial of CC as well as one of CS6, separately and independently.
However, it’s possible in some circumstances that your Adobe trial software can expire early.
I have downloaded both files for CS6 master collection, but the file stops downloading at 2.2 gigabytes and will not install. Please help!
CS6 master collection will not download all the way. it stops at 2.3 gigs and then says download error.
Nothing on Adobe’s end, it all works fine here – so we’d suggest trying a different browser, computer, or Internet connection…
Don’t use Wi-Fi – go with a wired cable instead of wireless, as these are large files and work best with a strong, fast, steady connection.
How do I download the CS6 Extended version in a 30 day trial offer?
Hi Lisa, all of the CS6 downloads on this page will automatically begin in free trial mode, completely functional for 30 days (or even 60 days).
When a valid purchased serial number is entered within that period, then they convert to fully-licensed versions.
Hello. I am trying to download the 30-day free trial of Photoshop CS6. I did the download of Adobe Acrobat and signed in to Adobe. When I try to download either file, it tells me Acrobat cannot read the file because it has been damaged or is not supported by Acrobat. Any suggestions.
Hello Jessica, are you on Windows? None of these files should be opened with Acrobat. File 1 is always a .EXE executable on Windows and you just double-click that to run it.
If that doesn’t work, then it sounds like one of your downloads lost its file extension and your computer doesn’t know how to open it… In that case, here is what to do.
Hopefully that will get it working for you. If not, see this list of tips for further help.
Trying to download for photo class. Do I need to download Acrobat XI first or just the download assistant?
No, neither one. If you read the download instructions carefully, step 3 says to cancel or close any of those programs that start… But once you’ve done that process, you’ve enabled the downloading for any of the Adobe direct links from the table above.
I have both files saved in My Documents. File 2 saved as a 7z file with many components in it. No .exe or .7z files in My Documents. HELP!
File 1 should always be a .EXE on Windows. If it’s not, then your browser (probably IE) dropped the file extension (which happens sometimes) – and so you just need to rename it to add back the “.exe” extension at the end.
File 2, if given for the application, is always a .7Z file on Windows. Make sure it is in the same folder as the .EXE file.
Next you double-click the .exe file and it will extract the installation package (.7z file) into a new Adobe folder on your Desktop.
Then within that new folder, you run the set-up.exe file to actually install the CS6 application(s) you selected onto your computer.
the files downloaded fine, but no installer happens. I have even deleted the files and downloaded again. I just get a box asking which program I would like to open the files with. (I am on Windows 8.1)
Hey there Katie, see previous reply.
for people like me who had to surf the web until their arms were sore, and had to sift through solutions time and time again using good ol’ trial and error, let me try and spell it out for ya.
make sure you:
– temporarily enable cookies on your browser (chrome, safari) so you can download the .dmg files above. (all DL links work fine after this, no “access denied” or anything)
– run the Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud Cleaner Tool if necessary.
– have dragged the actual "CD icon" of CS6 Master Collection or "package icon" onto your DESKTOP. Double click to install
you should have no failed installation or " Exit Code: 6 " or " ERROR: DF015, DW063 … " if you make sure you've done those. (i hope)
Good luck!
