How to download Adobe InDesign CS6 (extended) Trial ?
I have tried to download but, from File 1, we get InDesign_8_LS16.exe which is only 1.2 MB, and when trying to use File 2, we successfully downloaded the file, but when try to uncompress, some files are missing or broken.
Someone can help me please..
Thanks again
You need both files Antoni, on Windows… File 1 is a small .EXE that will unpack the large File 2 archive into a new Adobe folder on your Desktop. Then you run the set-up.exe file within that Adobe folder to actually install the CS6 application(s) you selected.
It sounds like your download may not have completed or got corrupted, if it says there are missing files… That can happen sometimes. (What exact message did it give you? Try googling that.)
First and foremost, make sure you carefully follow the step-by-step download instructions given in the article above (near the top of this page) and you should be fine if you have a good Internet connection… Usually people get ‘access denied’ if they don’t follow those directions.
Then if you still have any difficulties, try a different browser, computer, or web connection (avoid Wi-Fi as it can be slow and unreliable).
Lastly, we put together this list of download tips you can check if you get stuck.
Hope this helps!
Is the Photoshop CS6 ONLY a trial? Or is it also a full version?
It’s both actually Andrea. It’s a free trial that will work fully on your computer(s) for 30 calendar days, and then if you decide to buy CS6 you enter your valid purchased serial number and it will become a full version on your same system without needing to reinstall the software…
The same goes for any Adobe trial version available, including the direct links for Photoshop CC et al. Downloading is free and easy and immediate, and then you just buy a license key to run it for longer than a month.
When I download Dreamweaver File 1 and open it up, nothing happens – should there be another file or what?
Can someone help, Thanks in advance.
Hey there Jacob, actually Dreamweaver (like Flash Pro and Fireworks) is a case where there is only one file… Oddly, some CS6 apps have two files to download for Windows, and others have only one. File 1 is always an executable however.
Are you sure you got it all, is the file large enough and compares to the size given?
Does it have a .EXE extension at the end?
Are you using a good (wired) Internet connection to download?
When you open the file, does it give any message or do anything else?
If you could post additional details, we could try to help more.
Hiya
1) no .exe extension
2) size 272 MB
3) Connection – Good and wired
What do I do next?
OK, that explains it – just see this previous comment for the solution.
Thanks, I can now get on with what I need to. Thank you for your help.
While trying the link to CS6 Design Standard I’m rudely informed:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/DSGN/CS6/win32/DesignStandard_CS6_LS16.exe” on this server.

Thanx for any insight on a fix
bg
Well, you’re not the first Bruce, and you won’t be the last… In order to successfully download these files, please make sure to follow the Very Important Instructions given in the article, near the top of this page.
Then if you have any further troubles at all, see our response above to Antoni.
How to download the free trial for Adobe Acrobat X or XI for Mac OS, sir?
Thanks
Hello again Antoni, we’ve added the direct download links for Acrobat X Pro on Mac OS to the table above – and this is the version that comes bundled together in the CS6 suites…
For the standalone AA release (outside of a suite), use these links instead:
Adobe Acrobat XI (11) Pro/Standard Direct Download Links
Adobe Acrobat X (10) Pro/Standard Direct Download Links
We have downloaded the Trial of Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended and installed it successfully, but suddenly Days Remaining become 00 (expired) and we can’t click on Continue Trial, because we have planned to Buy the Adobe license to install on Mac and Windows.
Can you help me Sir. Thanks.
Sorry, not sure why – but maybe this forum might help?
Adobe 30-Day Trial Ended Early?
Downloads completed fine, but…
After the Master Collection download, file 2 is a 6 gig .txt file?
Does running file 1 fix this automatically?
No, on Windows the File 2 (where it exists) should always be a .7z file (not a .txt file)… But sometimes your browser will change or lose an extension when downloading, especially Internet Explorer.
So if it doesn’t have that “.7z” extension, then just rename it to have that – before running the .exe file.
I just downloaded the direct links for each individual application (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc). Do I also need to download the creative suites : Master Collection, Design and Web premium, Design Standard, etc. – or will that duplicate what I have already downloaded?
That’s an excellent question Shelley, and in most cases the separate applications will work the same standalone as in a CS6 suite, however there are some exceptions such as Adobe Dynamic Link which are included only as part of a suite edition… (it doesn’t come with any of the point products)
See the CS6 Product Matrix for more about those types of components.
Whether this is important to you depends on the work you do and the product(s) you will ultimately buy. Ideally (and most easily), if you will need more than one tool then it’s probably best to download and run the free trial for the applicable Creative Suite (or Creative Cloud which includes everything).
Thx! Useful to download the trials!
I have tried everything and I have temporarily allowed pop ups, but for some reason nothing is working. When I try to download the software here, it says only “save as” or “open”. When I do that nothing appears. Then I tried going to Adobe’s website and when it starts to download it says it fails. Is there something I am doing wrong? I read the instructions.
Not sure Christian. Pop-ups aren’t used at all, although Adobe recommends disabling antivirus software as described in the download directions.
Did you try downloading with another (different) browser? Give that a shot and see how it goes… usually it should do the trick.
Sorry if this is a double post, I don’t see my question listed above anymore.
After a complete download (master collection) with no issues, I now have a 6 gb TXT file. Is this correct?
Will the File 1 .exe unpack this file, or do I need to do something else first?
Thanks.
Hey there, we responded to your earlier same question here.
I would recommend Adobe has a Dreamweaver CS6 version that does not use admin privileges to install. It is highly recommend for students using non-admin rights computers.
The links for all software now have an error, Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/SPGD/6/win64/SpeedGrade_6_LS17.exe” on this server.

Obviously the ‘SpeedGrade_6’ changes on all the errors. Please fix this ASAP.
Thanks
@ Patrick
Sorry, I read the instructions again and realised I hadn’t logged in :/
I have an Adobe account, so I want to log in to be able to download the Photoshop CS6 trial. Where is the login button/function located on your website (I mean on THIS site)? In your Very Important Instructions, you mentioned that I need to do it, HOW?
You don’t login on this site – only (possibly) on the Adobe site, if requested by them…
The single most important thing to do is to click through the link we give in Step 1 of the download instructions above. Then, if asked by Adobe to sign in, please do so.
Once you complete these steps, then you’ll be enabled to direct download any of the CS6 free trials above with no problem.
I’ve signed up for an online class that requires downloading Photoshop CS6. File 2 downloads fine but I can’t get File 1 to download; getting the following message:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/PHSP/13/win32/Photoshop_13_LS16.exe” on this server.
Reference #18.a4ca1160.1376578359.4bf7509
Should add that I need the trial version.
Hi Wes, make sure you carefully follow the download instructions given in the article above (near the top of this page).
Then if you still have any difficulties, try a different browser, computer, or web connection (avoid Wi-Fi as it can be slow and unreliable).
We also put together a list of download suggestions you can check if you get stuck.
Not sure how, but I got it. Thanks for the follow-up!
what do the Western Europe files do?
Hello John, they’re for some of the non-English versions of CS6… See the sixth paragraph of the article above:
“The Western European languages can include French/Français, German/Deutsch, Dutch/Nederlands, Italian/Italiano, Spanish/Español, Portuguese/Português, Danish/Dansk, Finnish/Suomi, Swedish/Svenska & Norwegian/Norsk.”
i downloaded file 1 and 2, what do i do now?
Great. Just run File 1 (the .exe file on Windows, or .dmg file on Mac).
do i need a program to run file 1?
ooh my bad, my download stopped from file 2
