I will be using Photoshop CS5 to create illustrations for a series of children’s books and to transform children’s artwork into a variety of personalized items. I would love to have the Photoshop CS5 book to help me get the most out of the program.
I’ll be using CS5 because every new addition comes with brilliant ideas overlooked or impossible in the previous version; CS versions advance as fast as the technology used to run them and I will never lag behind with Adobe Creative Suite.

It’s good for photos with landscapes but not for signs like advertising because the tool is not aware about text. Puppet Warp is good for text.

As a college student with little money I am limited in my resources, but luckily available through school I will finally be able to upgrade from Photoshop CS2 to the entire Creative Suite CS5. I have missed out on a lot of features in the previous editions but I am more excited about receiving all the old ones as much as the new ones (mostly the new algorithms with Content Aware). Cannot wait to receive it and begin learning and putting the skills to use in my schoolwork and hobbies. Thanks for the chance to win!
CS5 is a breakthrough at the right time, I have a future of success without the painful cloning of the past. Planning on illustrating my way into books globally. And I will! (*_*)
Look forward to using your product.
a haiku:
cs5 is live
creative sweet is the sound
go buy photoshop
It’s very “revolutionary.” There is so much that the Adobe team has put into adding and revamping the product that four lines could not begin to describe some of the features. There’s a ruler bar in Photoshop that can straighten a picture and fill in the gaps, likewise if you removed a picture the content fill-in feature is amazing. They have taken third party products out of the picture and flowed their software with products together.
My use of upgrading my CS2, yes I’m still lagging behind, to CS5 will be for creating series images, involving multi-image layering one atop the other and B&W conversions. I am looking forward to this immensely. Also it will give me the chance to help others learn at my blog, answering questions. Thanks for another great contest.
I am looking forward to being able to have a fast and efficient work flow using CS5 and Maya in order to start an independent business.

My goal is to tap into my passionate desire to create fantastic websites. After researching and creating a plan over the last 9 months I am now ready to begin. After learning about CS5 I knew had to have this top-of-the-line product. Delivery should come by the end of the week and I am SOOOOO EXCITED to get started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t wait! I wish I could buy all at once, but one book at a time is more “financially responsible” I guess. Sniffle :(
I am looking forward to progressing my Photographic and TeleMedia interests with the new CS5 products. I am also excited about the possibilities of exploring all the buzz about HD and the forthcoming excitement brewing about all the new consumer cameras and camcorders incorporating 3D technologies. I am contemplating these new technologies and the possibilities of the CS5 suite of products. Learning new tips and techniques, enhancing my workflow, is like something to look forward to and to be inspired about. I hope to publish all my advances in the coming months – wish me success!
I just have the Photoshop CS5 extended but so far I am loving it! The best thing for me using this new Photoshop is the wonderful free tutorials. I wish I had half the Photoshop smarts that Terry and the others have. Bravo…for (standing ovation) for all of you teaching Photoshop Gurus…muuuwah! (cyber kiss)
The #1 new feature that I will be making use of is the Content-Aware Fill feature. This new option will make photography “work” even more fun. When I watched the demo videos on this feature I was sold. What a time saver this will be. My previous software was Elements 8.0. I plan to keep it but will use CS5 most of the time. Each new release of Photoshop introduces new and amazing tricks and techniques.
I just sat through a presentation on the new CS5, very excited. I’m looking forward to convincing my company into buying it and using the different page size in one document option, one text box for all and gap tool in InDesign. The content aware fill and puppet warp in Photoshop completely amazed me. Lastly, I’m excited to learn about Flash and the new Flash Catalyst.
The new brushes, scrubby zoom, mini bridge, improved masking, and new puppet warp are only a few of the features that I love in the new Photoshop CS5 upgrade.
Content Aware, HDR Pro, Masking, great Noise Reduction. I’ve just gotten rid of three plug-ins!
I’m buying Photoshop for the first time and am very excited about it! So, I guess you could say I like the whole thing. :) I signed up for a Photoshop class with my local college and the required book is Classroom in a Book. That would be so awesome to win it! I’m going to use it for my photography which I hope becomes my profession someday.
I like CS5 for its DSLR editing capabilities! I will be using it to make music videos and short films!

I will be using adobe cs5 to generate all of the media for my company from videos to flyers and everything in between. I switched from apple final cut because the adobe suite is much more user-friendly in my opinion.
I’m currently updating my CS3 to CS5 and am very excited about the new features of CS5 like the Content Aware functions.
The best thing about CS5 is the easy High Dynamic Range Imaging – just a few clicks of the mouse and you have a very good HDR finished photo.
looking for adobe new features to build websites!
