I’m getting the following error msg: License for this product has expired
Hey there Keith, all Adobe free trials normally last 30 days. Although with newer products like CS6 and CC, you can get up to 60 days free.
Thanks a lot for the links, it’s a big trouble to get these trials from any other place. Our Design Standard CS3 Volume key worked fine on the trial :)
CS3 Design Standard for Mac File 1… not working. Tried Firefox and Safari.
Hey Larry, everything works fine here… Make sure you are carefully following the step-by-step instructions given near the top of this page, or you won’t be able to access the downloads.
If at that point you still have any difficulties, then try with a different web browser, computer, or Internet connection – all while still following those directions. Avoid Wi-Fi, as these can be large downloads and wireless connections are slower and less reliable than wired.
I recently retired and bought a new computer. I would like to put Photoshop CS4 that I purchased while taking a class a few years ago on my new laptop. I can’t find a way to download a copy. The customer service people directed me to d/l a copy of the program trials from here and then to enter my serial number. Unfortunately, the Photoshop cs4 link leads to a file error. Could you direct me to a working link please.
Greetings Richard, these links all work fine… please see previous comment.
Then if you still have any issues, please post what you did and the exact message you receive.
Thanks…appreciate it.
I got everything downloaded, it starts the install process but it will not install the main components, what can I do?
CS3 Master Collection on Windows 8
(P.S. I have screenshots of everything if that will help)
Not sure Kevin, do you get any kind of message or error? Have you googled that?
Regardless, there are uncertain reports about getting CS3 to work on Windows 8. Adobe staff says CS3 has not been tested and is incompatible with Windows 8.
I was referred to this site from the Adobe website on downloading Adobe Acrobat Pro 8. I misplaced my disk. I registered my Pro 8 and have a 24 digit number which is either a serial or product number.
Well Max, if that’s what you want then you might try the version that’s linked in the table above – just be sure to carefully follow the download instructions given in the article.
Hi, I was trying to download CS4 Design Standard and when I went to download File 2 it keeps saying there’s no file. Have I missed the free trial period or is there another place I can go for the free trial?
Hi Nesha, what is the exact message you get? If we knew that we could help better.
These free trials still work but CS4 is rather dated by now – from 2008. If you want a current free trial of the latest release you can purchase (for use more than 30 days), go with new Adobe CC.
I’m getting the following message after having downloaded the CS3 Premium file:
“Setup can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.”
I’ve spent more than 8 hours trying to download and get this reinstalled. Please advise.
Hello Daniel – according to this Adobe Help article, that message is not due to the download or the file here, but rather it’s because of a setting on your computer.
I tried to re-install CS4 design premium on my windows 8.1, which worked in the past. I’ve downloaded the 2 main files (and also the optional ones) in the same directory.
ADBESTDSCS4_LS1.exe and ADBESTDSCS4_LS1.txt.
I double clicked on the *.exe file and got the funny message: The file archive part of Adobe CS4 design Premium is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe CS4 design Premium. Please download all parts.
What do I have to DO?
Well Victor, the second file is not a .txt file, but rather a .7z file… Sometimes your web browser will drop or change the extension, especially when using IE.
You have to rename it to change it back to the original extension, then you can run the .exe as normal.
Any direct links for CS5 trial? I only see CS3 and CS4. I have the serial number and hard copy, but need it for an iMac with no disc drive so I can turn it into a permanent copy. I was directed here by an Adobe forum. Thanks!
Yes Rob, not sure which one you have but here are direct download links for both the CS5 trials as well as the CS5.5 trials.
My original ‘CS4 Design Premium’ was damaged. Therefore I was sent to this website by one of the Adobe technicians.
I downloaded CS4 Design Premium, file 1 (*.exe) and file 2 (*.txt).
Only after changing the extension of file 2 from *.txt to *.7z , it agrees to proceed.
Trying to install from the opened directory I got message that it is corrupt. Another Adobe technician told me not to expect too much from those unsupported files…
Well, sounds like you got the file renaming done which is good to hear.
But there is no problem with the integrity or authenticity of the files themselves – they come directly off of Adobe’s servers and are the original (although old) versions.
Even if logged in to Adobe I still get file not found. Need the full suite CS3. I have a disk, but am having all kinds of problems installing and thought I might try to burn a new CD.
Auto runs okay and install starts. Up to the point I am asked to pick a directory, it is fine then I click continue and it keeps telling me to insert the disk in my DVD drive…but is it already there !!
Greetings Paul, if you happen to get an strange “Insert disc” (DVD / CD) message when installing a CS download, see this forum recommendation to hopefully take care of that.
@Daniel K
Hi Daniel,
Sounds like you are on a recent Mac. Try right-clicking on the setup app and selecting “open.” You should get a dialog with a warning about the unidentified developer, but be able to continue and open the app anyway.
Gatekeeper was recent technology Apple added that will prevent apps from launching unless they contain an identifier that proves the Developer has registered with Apple. (essentially)
It’s their way of ensuring Malware can’t sneak in on your Mac, or if registered app developers do something nefarious, Apple can revoke their approval.
Of course, the downside is that old apps won’t have that code because Apple only started that in the past 3-ish years or so.
Hence the ‘bypass’ option. Just do so at your own risk.
I have the Adobe CS4 Creative Suite Design Premium on an old computer, but deactivated it and recently got a new computer and successfully downloaded the trial version from the links above and have been using it.
I just tried to type my serial number in though because the trial is up in one week, and it is telling me that it is invalid even though it is absolutely correct.
I spoke with an Adobe Chat Help person and they told me they cannot help me because they don’t offer technical support for older products… Someone HELP!!!
Unfortunately Britt, there’s nothing we or anyone else can do… Only Adobe has power over licensing issues, as that is all controlled from within their systems.
So if contacting Adobe Customer Care doesn’t help, then we are not sure what to suggest other than to move up to a newer release (as CS3/CS4 are pretty old versions by now).
I’ve got the CS4 Design Premium (Student Version). So my serial doesn’t work with your downloads… Any link to the student versions?
Hey Dustin, actually (in theory) it should actually work… The software bits are the same, it’s just the education licensing is different.
Hi I have CS4 and I made a catalog some time ago with InDesign. I am now trying to open that catalog and I get an error message that the I am missing the new plugins to open it. I never had that error before and opened it many times.
If I look whether I am up to date in my downloads and plug-ins it says I am. I need this file to open, what am I supposed to do next?
Well that’s odd, Suzanne – did you google the exact message you received? Be sure to include any plugin and product names in your search… That may give you an answer.
Note that newer versions like CC and CS6 will open all older CS files.
Outside of those suggestions, we don’t have any plugins available for download here, sorry – but good luck in figuring it out!
Hello, I am getting the following message when trying to download the CS4 Design Premium WIN files:
HTTP ERROR: 404 /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
RequestURI=/support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
Please advise and thank you!
Hey there Rob, typically you’ll get that message when the important download instructions aren’t followed carefully…
If you still have any difficulties after that, try a different web browser, another computer, or a different Internet connection (avoid Wi-Fi as it can be slow and/or unreliable).
My comment disappeared. I need the DL for the CS 4 Design Premium Student Version, do you have any links on that?
Hello again, see our reply above.
I’m having problems with one of the steps.
” 1. Click «HERE» to visit this page and then select the “Download Now” button at the bottom.
2. If asked, sign in with your Adobe ID or take a minute to create one for yourself.”
Nothing is asking for me to log in. This is a necessary step correct? I’ve tried to follow all the instructions without logging in and when I click the .exe file that I downloaded, I get a pop-up saying “The file archive part of Adobe Photoshop CS4 is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe Photoshop CS4. Please download all parts”
I’m probably just overlooking something considering it’s 1 AM. I’ve read through as many comments as I can before I gave up and am now asking for help. I used Google Chrome for the downloads and sat here while the 2 files downloaded to make sure everything went smoothly and no one touched my laptop hehe.
Thank you in advance for any and all help! :)
Hi Jenelle, see our previous reply here for more help on that message.
I can download the link for CS4 to my mac (STPPS4_Cont_LS4.dmg) but when I open it, all I get is a single window (orange top) with folders named with different languages + pdf-files. When I click English I get two folders: Documentation and Goodies. I’ve looked through both, but see no setup. How do I actually INSTALL the program?
Welcome Tove, it sounds like you may have downloaded the Extra Content instead of the actual program itself… You might try it again.
I’m trying to download Dreamweaver CS3. I need that version but when I click the File 1 link it takes me to a page that says:
HTTP ERROR: 404 /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
RequestURI=/support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
Greetings Clare, it sounds like the same thing as Rob above.
Hi
Good website
How can i download
Thanks Mathew, just follow the download directions given in the article above, near the top of this page.
I’ve followed the instructions about downloading Adobe’s Download Assistant. When I double-click the ‘install’ icon, an error message appears:
Sorry an error has occurred
This application cannot be installed because the installer has been misconfigured. Please contact the application author for assistance.
However I found I already had a copy of Download Assistant, so I launched that. When I click the CS4 Design Preium link on your webpage, a download starts but never gets anywhere – it reaches 6.5mb (or so) and thereafter nothing.
Please advise! I’m using Mac OS X 10.9.1.
Hey David, you don’t need to use the Adobe Download Assistant. One of the nice things about direct links is that you can download without Adobe’s DLM, and use your own if you want.
Make sure you are carefully following the download instructions – in step 3, you cancel anything like that that pops up.
But following those directions enables the direct links to work without needing the ADA.
Lastly, if your download stops midway, then there’s nothing we can do about that – as it has to do with the connection between your computer and Adobe’s servers… We’d suggest trying a different browser, computer, or Internet connection, and not Wi-Fi.
