I would have to actually USE it to figure out my favorite improvement.
Hey Sam, check out the free trial download good for 30 days, then you can report back! ;)
Favourite new feature will I think be the updated content aware tools in Photoshop.
My very favorite new feature is the updated Mercury Graphics Engine!!
I’m excited about the Revolutionary erodible brushes, I look forward to more realistic drawing.
My favorite new feature is the CSS3 transitions – Animate changes to CSS properties to bring web designs to life, that makes designing cool sites so much faster and easier and without adding heavy code.
Unblur Photos
My favorite features are:
Dockable hidden tools
Mercury Performance Engine
Gradients on strokes
I love the Gradients on Strokes feature
While using PS CS6 Beta I found the new blur tools useful
1. Mercury graphics engine in PS and AI – pity it isn’t implemented in Flash, Fireworks and InDesign
2. CSS3 Panel and Sprite Export in Fireworks
3. Export to HMTL via CreateJS framework in Flash Pro
What’s your favorite new feature in Creative Suite 6?
My new favorite feature has to be Content-Aware Patch, Move & Extend it looks awesome from watching the video – I’m going to download the trial just to try it out.
Content aware erase.
The new feature that sounds really interesting to me is in Illustrator called Image Trace. The ability to make a raster image into editable vectors is really convenient!
I shared on FB and Twitter and I like the Mercury graphics engine.
Love that there is a background save and auto recovery feature finally!
My favourite new feature is Content-Aware Patch, Move & Extend.
So far… the Liquid Layout for InDesign is my favourite feature.
Ability to move objects with content aware tool.
64-bit Illustrator & Gradient Strokes!
I think my favorite new features are not really new features. I would say most of the JDIs have been long time coming and very much welcomed here. Like pixel snapping, cmd+j to duplicate folders etc etc. Small things makes the biggest difference in the every day workflow. But I still have to wonder why Illustrator’s UI is so different compared to PS (at least on a Mac) …is it really so hard to make them unified? ahh..well.. can’t get everything I guess. :)
My favorite feature is the Mercury graphics engine for real time rendering of effects.
The content aware patch tool.
I think the most significant change to the type of work my husband and I do is the revamp to the image trace function. From what I’ve read, it seems much improved and would be very happy to try it out!
Go for it Jessica – the free trial for Illustrator CS6 is easily downloaded and installed.
As others have said, the content aware tools are great. Although Lightroom 4 is not part of CS6, it still works so seamlessly now with Photoshop that there really is no better environment for photographers.
I’d have to say, the content -aware tools in PS cs6 and the “image trace” and the “gradients on stroke” in Illustrator cs6; along with “even faster processing” !!!
