I have tried again with another computer directly connected to my modem. The speeds were the same and the result the same…. As I am running out of download capacity I would like to know the real size of the file ADBESTDSCS4_LS1.7z as both files downloaded are different – 3,691,477kb’s and 3,753,152kb respectively. If I know the true size I can cut the download until the right size appears…. I am concerned that this is a bogus site and I am wasting time and money persuing it? Positive comments to lull one are quite common on the internet.
LOL… Absolutely not a bogus site; on the contrary this is one of the very rare places where you can legitimately and safely still find these files!
It sounds like if you are capacity-limited in your downloads, then that may not be a strong-enough connection to successfully download these (large) files.
To answer your question though, we get the exact size of the file you requested to be 3.56 GB (3,832,332,386 bytes) – and for us it takes about 10 minutes on a high-speed (wired) broadband line.
I have followed the instructions to download Adobe CS4, however when I click to download, the download starts but times out and it doesn’t fully get downloaded. I’ve signed into my Adobe account and everything.

I am sorry I have been sooooo long getting back and thanking you for the help. I had a mini-stroke and just now got back to my computer.
I knew it had to be something so simple. I have 4 degrees in computer science, but also have had three strokes and the same amount of heart attacks.
People say Mike has forgot more about computers than most people will ever know, but that is the problem Mike has forgot.

REMEMBER PEOPLE IF IT DOES NOT SAY APPLICATION OR EXE, BUT SAYS FILE THEN CHANGE IT BY RENAMING IT .EXE (THAT IS THE SMALL EXTRACTOR FILE.)

Hi, I have downloaded this from this site, it is not bogus.
The site download is about 6.5 Gbs.
Also you may be taking too long to download and your computer is timing out. Just go into your settings and increase the time on your computer before it goes into Hibernating mode.

Hi – I have an old computer with the CS4 suite on it. I have now bought a new computer and want to move my CS4 suite over to it. I spoke with Adobe who gave me a link to your site and the download I need – I have successfully downloaded the suite but it appears the serial number I have is not correct – it’s 20 digits long and perhaps missing 4 digits?

Hello Mark, all Adobe serial numbers are indeed 24 digits, so it sounds like you are missing four numbers…

I am on an ADSL2+ connection, I had disabled my computer sleeping. I had connected my computer directly to my modem. I attempted a download in a what I thought was a less-busy (to you) time. I am in Australia. I had enough capacity at the time to download the file (10Gb). When is the best time (busy-wise your end) do you think to try this again as It seems a disappointing way to end a long Adobe relationship.
Hey Julianne, why are you messing with CS4 or CS3 anyway? You can’t really buy these old releases (safely) anymore, regardless.
If you have a slower or limited Internet connection, our best advice would be to just order a new Adobe CC disc/DVD delivered to your house instead.
Do these links still work? I’m getting 404 errors. I just want to check whether or not CS3 works under Mavericks before upgrading my main machine. I’d rather use the trial versions to accomplish this on a virtual machine install of 10.9

My CS3 Production Premium seemed to catch some spyware because exported files were a half bigger than usual and the 4th of my original setup DVD is defective. So I tried to install it again with this setup here – when the setup initialized it gave me an error:
“Critical errors were found in setup. Incompatible payloads already installed. Please see the setup log files for information.”
When I’m running my original discs, I don’t get this message……. so, how can it be?? Help. I´m in hurry with my software as people are waiting.
What you likely need to do is clear your computer entirely of Adobe software using Adobe’s Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, then reboot your system, and start again from the top with the product installation.

I time machine installed to a new computer. Everything works fine except Adobe. I learned that mistake a year ago. So uninstalled, logged into my account to download CS4 again but guess what it’s not there. After wasting time with chat they send me to the forum and then found this site. But guess what, the link does not work.
I need to download Web Premium CS4 for Mac. A program which I paid for and own but unable to access it.
Someone from Adobe needs to provide a link so I can get back to work and move on from this disaster.
Sorry about your troubles Josh. Adobe will keep the software you purchased available for download from your account for three years from date of purchase, which is probably why you couldn’t find it any longer. Ideally you’d have another copy or offline backup made somewhere, but since you don’t we’ll try to help out.
We keep these original free trial downloads as a convenience to our readers, but in order for them to work you need to very carefully follow the download instructions given in the article above. If you don’t, you’ll likely get an access or permission denied message.
If at that point you still have any difficulties, then try with a different web browser, computer, or Internet connection – all while still following those directions. Avoid Wi-Fi, as these can be large downloads and wireless connections are slower and less reliable than wired.
The download worked, thank you. But when I enter my serial number in it says its not valid. This is one I paid thousands of dollars for. I purchased it directly from Adobe’s website but it does not work. Please advise.
Sorry Josh, that kind of thing (licensing issues) is out of our power to help with… You have to directly contact Adobe themselves.
It’s possible since you are moving around computers and installations that you exceeded your two-system limit for software activations somehow – in which case you’d have to contact them anyway, to have that reset.
I have given up and received a friend’s help with no hassles from a torrent. Faster and a once only event. Used my registration number and “bob’s your uncle”! This site has many problems.
Wow, bad move Julianne – if you value your data, your computer, and your identity, you’ll never put software from unknown sources onto your system – especially Adobe torrents…
It’s also fascinating, because in your previous comment you were concerned if this might be a bogus site! Yet you willingly opened up your machine to an installation file that you have no idea where it came from or who hacked it.
Many many people have benefited by having direct link access to all the original Adobe trials here, with no problem… Sorry it didn’t work out for you.
CC sounds good but I will not purchase a program on a monthly lease. If it becomes CS7 like CS6 as a program and not a monthly attribute I would seriously consider its purchase. CC is far too expensive for my needs.

Greetings Brian, the links here all work fine, you just have to make sure you are carefully following the download directions in the article (given near the top of this page) – otherwise they won’t work.
Hello. Trying to download trial for Illustrator CS3 or CS4. I have disabled firewall and security, but it still pops up “find” instead of “run” when I click to download… Any suggestions? Thnx

I have followed all directions.. Using windows XP pro. I have tried in IE and Firefox.. I have uninstalled and tried on desktop and laptop with same result.. Thanks for the quick response..
OK Matt, guessing maybe your browser lost the file extension when downloading? If so, see the solution here.
I finally got the file to work (had to change the extension from .7z to .exe) but now it says that the version available isn’t compatible with my system (I’m 64 bit) but the thing is .. I’ve always been 64 since buying CS4.
I moved recently and during the move my laptop was damaged (someone dropped it I think) and so I had to get a new computer .. and I’m trying to install CS4 but so far haven’t had any luck. I know my disc is packed up somewhere, but honestly I would have to empty every single box to find it (lots of boxes) and between work & a new house .. I don’t have time to search through all these boxes for a single disk .. I had help packing (and they weren’t as diligent in marking boxes as I would have liked) so I seriously have no clue where it might have ended up.
I am desperately in need of my program back up and running (I’m an interior designer and depend heavily on Photoshop for my 3D rendering processing & seamless material production).
Help?!?!
Not sure Jennie, what program did you have and are you trying to reload, and what is the exact error message you are getting?
If you need to quickly get back running again on a new computer, then the easiest thing is just to download the free 30-day trials of modern (and faster) software like CS6 or Adobe CC.
(You can always uninstall them after the trial ends if you want.)
Hello, I downloaded CS3 Design Standard for Mac but when I went to install the program, it is listed as CS3 Web Premium – and then I got an error message that my serial number isn’t valid. I have confirmed it is the correct number and also deactivated my old computer, is it possible that the link for CS3 Design Standard is pulling in Web Premium and this is why it didn’t work?

Hi, I am really awful at computer tech stuff in general, But I believe I followed all of the directions. I installed the Adobe Installer Assistant, I logged in. Then I closed all the pop up windows like the directions say, then I downloaded the CS3 Photoshop file for Mac that I need. Now I click on the icon and I don’t see a .dmg file but I do see a setup icon w a PS logo on it, I click on that then I get the message: Setup Error – Setup has encountered an error and cannot continue. Contact Adobe Customer Support for assistance.
Now Adobe has no contact numbers or anything. Basically I purchased CS3 a while back, I upgraded my computer and my new computer does not have a CD drive! Now I can’t seem to download this and its so frustrating, what am I doing wrong? And I don’t know how to disable cookies, I looked in all my preferences.
Also I did disable firewall. Please help!
Hi Lily, here is hopefully the answer:
“Launch the installer for a second time and you should not encounter the error again.”
If that doesn’t work, then try googling the exact text of the error message you got. That will usually provide the solution.
(In other words, you don’t have to be good a computers, you just have to be good at knowing what to search for!)

The download speed is a huge problem… it takes about 2(!) days to load the CS4 suite.

Instead of going backwards, why don’t you order a free DVD with the new CC release instead?
