Hi,
Just wanted to ask if I started with photoshop and then decided to get the full creative cloud at a later date. Would I be able to change plans easily? Or, do I have to wait a year, or continue paying for a single photoshop plan, as well as the full suite?
If this is possible what is the process?
Yes, it is possible and it’s very easy. You can upgrade at any time and would never need to pay for two plans.
If you want to upgrade from a smaller plan (like the CC Photography or Single-App options) to the “All Apps” complete package, then just follow the instructions given on this help page:
How to Upgrade and Change from One Creative Cloud Plan to Another
Usually you can do it online and it just takes a minute.
Is there a link to Adobe Muse 2018.1 or above? I can only get 2018, which will not open my site.
Really appreciate any help on this. I’ve lost days trying to get this to work.
Thanks
Welcome Dom, good question. Please see our previous response on Muse here.
However, you may still be able to download the last release of Muse (version 2018.1) not via a direct download link but rather the traditional way by using the Creative Cloud Desktop app… Follow the instructions given here to see if that works for you.
Hello, I’ve used your site to download photoshop before without problems, but now when I try to install any version of photoshop I get a screen saying “Update required” like here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/update-operating-system-and-browser.html
Any fixes from the forums haven’t worked for me. I have the latest version of windows and IE, but it still doesn’t work. I was just wondering if you were aware of this issue and if you had any fixes to suggest for me?
Hi Karo, if you get this error:
“Update required: Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system.”
or this error:
“The installation cannot proceed as the installer file may be damaged. Download the installer file again.”
…then extract the files, turn off the Internet or Wi-Fi, and try to install the software again.
This is a huge thank you to Jim who, according to kglad of the Adobe Community forum, is the guy responsible for saving me.
I’d lost my Flash Pro CS5 disk and had uninstalled it from my PC once Flash died, forgetting I would need it to view the learning game we’d created. Duh.
After failing to find a way to download it from Adobe, I went to the forum and there kglad told me about ProDesignTools and its download service.
I’ve just completed the download and install of CS5. Your instructions were clear and easy to follow, as long as you go slowly and don’t miss any steps. Everything worked, CS5 is back on my computer and we can now see the game and use it to design the next, non-Flash version.
Thank you so much for offering this fantastic service … and one even non-techies like me can take advantage of. You guys are life savers!
Aw, thank you so much for your kind words, Linda – that means a lot!
You’re very welcome, and we’re so glad to hear the success story… It’s comments like yours which make it all worthwhile.
Thanks for sharing the good news, and good luck with the software!
Thanks so much for replying! It always feels good to know someone has read your comment … and, even better, taken time to reply. :-)
I have been runnning Creative Suite 5.5 on my PC for a long time without any issue whatsoever, right up to and including Windows 10. Unfortunately I then had to reinstall Windows 10 after a hard drive failure and have had no success reinstalling CS5.5 – either via my CD copy or via the download links in my Adobe account. After clicking on the Set-Up.exe file and progressing about two thirds of the way through the Adobe Installer, it tells me that “this app can’t run on this device.” I know it can, so this is frustrating.
Is there any updated software to help with this?
I’d appreciate any help.
Hello Andy,
Sorry, not sure; what is the exact and complete text of the error message you receive, word for word – and did you try googling that to find a solution?
Thanks for the reply. Here is the exact error message:
I downloaded the two files from my Adobe account, extracted into the Adobe CS5_5 folder, ran the Set-UP.exe file and this was the result. This is a brand new installation of Windows 10, the final version released.
The Creative Suite programs are about 10 years old now and were written for Windows 7 specifications… Have you tried going into the Properties for the Set-up executable (right click on it), selecting the Compatibility tab, then checking the “Run this program in compatibility mode for” box, and choosing Windows 7?
Anyone know why Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 is not available? I have tried to open an image and that does not work, nor trying to open the program first.
Those links are old, but they do still work… Just make sure to carefully follow the download instructions given there before clicking on them.

Hi, I have some insights for installing the old Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 on the last macOs that (partially) supports 32 Bit Applications: macOs 10.14.6 Mojave:
If you install the LR 6.14 (macOs-Version) on a newly installed Mojave (see the article/posts on https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-lightroom-6-cc-direct-download-links.html ) there is a real problem evolving (probably came through some newer updates on macOs because the Internet doesn’t seem to know of this problem until now):
– Installer wants you to log in first to your Adobe Account and input your LR 6 Serial Number. But after you provided all that, it doesn’t go fully through but says : “Can’t connect to the Internet, check Internet settings” (or similar).
– Just ignore it for now and install anyway with the “ask later” button
– After LR6 installs (which is in fact Lightroom CC 2015 if you would open and check the freshly installed LR) i suggest to NOT open LR first because this will only lead to the same “can’t connect” problem and will lead nowhere
(i even tried and searched for the offline activation feature which Adobe provides in general but this would need a response Code out of the installer which i could NOT see or find anywhere through the installation process)
– To cope with the problem, just open the also installed program “Adobe Application Manager” -> this leads to an auto-update of the “Adobe Application Manager” over the internet
– After the auto-update, this magically leads to a functioning Adobe Login and Product Activation if you start LR application itself
– After activation: Ta-Daa: LR now states version LR 6.14 instead of Lightroom CC 2015 (seems to be the identical product with only differences in licensing)
Maybe ProDesignTools can put this information in a useful spot to be found from google for others…
Thanks so much for sharing that, Bernd – and you just did put it in a useful public spot where it can indeed be indexed by Google!
Dear ProDesign,
Is there any way of getting Adobe Encore CS6 at this time? I know that it’s well discontinued but thought I would try.
I’m just after downloading Nero Video, as that seems to be the best alternative DVD Authoring software out there at the moment but not as good as Encore. I often wondered how do Hollywood make DVDs of their films anymore.
God bless,
Marcus
Hi Marcus,
Yes. It’s here, as part of Premiere Pro CS6… Just make sure to carefully follow the download instructions first:
Adobe Creative Suite 6 Direct Download Links, for Windows and macOS
It should work if you have a valid CS6 license, or a valid Creative Cloud subscription for Premiere or All Apps.
Oh, I am so delighted that this has worked. I have spent hours talking to Adobe trying to get Encore, without success. All they used to say was that it was discontinued. I’m grateful to have come across ProDesignTools, thank God. Now I can finally get back to using Encore. I must have spent a whole month trying to find an alternative.
God bless,
Marcus
Hi, I’m in a bit of a dilemma. I have an older 2009 MacBook Pro that I was running Adobe InDesign 2.0, Photoshop 7.0 and Illustrator 10.0. I purchased the suite several years ago direct from Adobe. My mac’s logic board just went out so I purchased a newer MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.7 and I can’t install any of the mentioned programs. I’m not in the publishing profession anymore but I still use the programs on and off for personal stuff. Can you recommend a newer version that I can purchase that is not going to be subscription based so I can revive my old photos and files?
Very much appreciate any help, thank you,
Ernst
Hi Ernst,
Sorry, Adobe stopped selling those “perpetual” licenses many years ago:
Update: You Can No Longer Buy CS6 from Adobe – Here’s Why
So all of the Adobe’s major creative apps (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, etc.) since 2012 are available only via subscription. However, there are many different plans available across various price ranges:
http://www.ChooseCreativeCloud.com/
Regarding your old programs, they simply will not run on Catalina and newer macOS versions because it’s 32-bit software and Apple removed all support for 32-bit apps. So it’s a completely different and incompatible platform from what those old applications were built for. Consequently, only the newer 64-bit Creative Cloud release will run on macOS version 10.15 and later.
I purchased PSE 2020 on disc when it first came out. I’m having to replace my old HP with Windows 7 and purchased a new HP Envy with Windows 11 and no onboard disc drive. It was suggested that I contact Adobe directly about a direct download of 2020 PSE vs purchasing an external disk reader that would allow me to install my 2020 PSE disc on the new machine.
If this is possible, please send instructions for accomplishing this.
Thank you!
Sure Steve, you can simply use our direct links:
Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Elements 2020 Direct Download Links
Be sure to carefully follow any download instructions given there.
Can’t vouch or say for sure that Elements 2020 will work/run on Windows 11 without any issues, but you can give it a try.
Hi,
I’ve tried downloading Photoshop Elements 19 for Mac, and when I try doing the install I get: “The installation cannot continue as the installer file may be damaged. Download the installer file again.” – which I’ve done multiple times with the same result. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thank you,
Brian
Hi Brian, if you’re getting this error:
“Update required: Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system.”
or this error:
“The installation cannot proceed as the installer file may be damaged. Download the installer file again.”
…then extract the files, turn off your Internet connection / disconnect the Wi-Fi, and try to install the software again.
That usually works.
If still no luck, then see this Adobe help page:
Update your operating system to work with Adobe apps
Does that help?
If I decide to purchase creative suite cs6 design standard from you for 1,299 dollars, do I receive a set of DVDs and a registration / serial number?
Where is the section in your website to place orders?
Thank you, Carmen
Sorry, that’s not possible. Creative Suite 6 is nearly 10 years old now, end-of-life, completely unsupported, and Adobe is no longer making or selling it to anyone:
Update: You Can No Longer Buy CS6 from Adobe – Here’s Why
I am desperately searching for Adobe Story. Is there any way to get it? I can’t find it anywhere. Can you help me?
Hi Jenna,
Sorry, Adobe Story was a separate product that was discontinued several years ago… It is completely “end of service” and there’s no way to use it. Please see this page for more details, plus a FAQ.
PLEASE help me find the path to Elements 13 to download to my new computer. I am over eighty and a longtime user of your products. It has never been so difficult. Maybe I am too old for this.
Sure, Dave – Elements 13 installers can be found here:
Photoshop Elements 13 and Premiere Elements 13 Direct Download Links
Hi,
I bought Photoshop CS4 back in 2010. It does all I need in my limited editing needs. Unfortunately when I moved back to Canada I realized I left it in Greenland where I bought it.
I still have a copy of my serial number. How can I download a copy.
Regards,
Kevin
Welcome Kevin,
If you need the original CS4 installers, they can still be found here:
Adobe Creative Suite 4 Direct Download Links
Please be aware that Creative Suite has been “end-of-life” software for some years now and because of that, is completely unsupported by Adobe… It will not install on macOS Catalina (v. 10.15) or newer, because CS6 had 32-bit software components and Apple removed all support for 32-bit applications.
Thank you for maintaining this invaluable resource for legacy installers. I notice that there are links available for standalone bug-fixes up to the CC 2015 series. Do you have links to updates that will patch the base CC 2018 install?
I am specifically looking for AE 15.1.2 and PS 19.1.9, which the internet tells me are the highest versions of the CC 2018 series. Thanks!
Hey Jeff, that’s a good question. Unfortunately, Adobe never published standalone installers for any updates to CC 2017, 2018, or 2019… The only direct download links that were ever available were the initial base “.0” versions of those releases.
So sorry, we’d love to help out, but it’s not possible!
Do you have photoshop version supported by mac high sierra 10.13.6?
My computer is old and can’t upgrade my o/s any further.
Hi Brian,
The last release of Creative Cloud to support macOS v. 10.13 High Sierra was CC 2020.
Alternatively, the CC 2019 direct downloads will also work just fine.
You can run older versions with your current subscription plan; Adobe won’t force you to upgrade.
According to this page at Adobe, the perpetual versions will no longer be available.
I think this should be confirmed and included on your web page under:
https://prodesigntools.com/acrobat-dc-2020-direct-download-links.html
Topic:
Acrobat Pro/Standard 2020 (Standalone) – Direct Download Links
Thanks.
If you find this as being incorrect, please feel free to make any corrections.
Thanks, John, appreciate your comment. But, a clarification: it’s not that the the perpetual versions will no longer be available – it’s rather that currently, Adobe has no plans for a new version of Acrobat perpetual beyond Acrobat 2020.
Meaning, that unless something changes, Acrobat 2020 will be the final perpetual version of Acrobat that Adobe releases.
Presumably, however, Acrobat 2020 will continue to be available and sold for some time… According to this page, the end of core support for Acrobat 2020 will be 6/1/2025.
After that point, Acrobat 2020 will become a bit like Creative Suite 6 has been – end of life, unsupported, no further patches, and may not work on newer operating systems.
I have spoken to Adobe yesterday about the older version of InDesign, and they do not recommend your website for download of this file. I have downloaded your file and have logged in from my Adobe account, and it seems to work okay. But Adobe advise against it and my log in I must assume is not legal?
No, it’s completely legal. You must have spoken to someone new or uninformed… Normally of course, it’s not a good idea to download software from unfamiliar sources, but we’ve been close Adobe partners since 2006.
Usually it’s the other way around; Adobe reps advise customers to download from our site when needing an older application.
As noted before, they are the same original Adobe installers – because they are being downloaded from Adobe’s servers!
To Anyone,
So, I thought that I was saved, but not so much. I found this site and thought my headache of either updating my OS or not using ADOBE PSE was resolved. I was using macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and had been using ADOBE PSE 11. Everybody was happy and all played well together. As a few items (Google Drive, for one) wanted me to upgrade my OS to at least 10.15 (Catalina) I decided to upgrade my OS. I knew there might be issues with ADOBE PSE not being compatible so I went to the ADOBE site, went to my account, looked up ADOBE PSE versions compatible with what macOS versions. I found that ADOBE PSE 2022 would work with macOS 10.15. I downloaded the Trial version of ADOBE PSE 2022 and tried it out for a couple days just to make sure. Then I selected the ‘Purchase Now’ option when opening the software. I was re-directed to a ‘Purchase’ page that was pre-filled with my information as I was signed In to my ADOBE account. Basically the only additional information required was Credit Card information. Once the CC info was entered I selected the ‘Authorize’ and ‘Purchase.’ What I discovered was that I was not purchasing ADOBE PSE 2022 but ADOBE PSE 2023. ADOBE 2023 is NOT compatible with macOS 10.15 (Catalina). ADOBE PSE 2023 is compatible with ONLY macOS 11 and macOS 12.4 or later. So. I had paid $110 for a Serial Number Key that WOULD NOT work in the Trial ADOBE PSE 2022 I was using. I had a Serial Number Key that WOULD work IF I upgraded my macOS, AGAIN, and then Downloaded / Installed ADOBE PSE 2023. I contacted ADOBE through the CHAT and through email to the ADOBE Support. As I was sternly told, ADOBE is ONLY selling PSE 2023. Even though there is a Download for PSE 2022 on the ADOBE site, they do NOT sell it. So, I had 26 days left in the Trial before the software went into self-destruct mode. ADOBE stated that I would have to go to a reseller (AMAZON, Best Buy) to buy the ADOBE PSE 2022. Go ahead, just try to find one online, anywhere. PSE 2022 is ‘Out of Stock’ / ‘Discontinued’ at all outlets I was able to check. BOOM ! ! I found your website. I HAVE BEEN SAVED ! ! Not so fast. Yep, I read through your information, hints and comments / questions. Are you legit? Yep. Are these good links? Yep. Are any strings attached? Nope. Okay, all is good. You list all versions of ADOBE PSE from Elements 7 (2008) to Elements 2022 (2021). As I had tried the Trial Version of ADOBE PSE 2022, I downloaded that file, for Mac. I wasn’t sure how I was going to get it activated but I just wanted to get it so I could get to work. Took a short bit to get the download but once done, I installed it. The only thing I got when I ‘opened’ the software was a ‘Welcome’ screen with ads, invitations, etc. No PSE. There was a button for the ‘PSE Editor’ – that takes me to ADOBE and the purchase for PSE 2023. I never did get to the ‘Sign In’ screen. I tried it all again and the same results. As I didn’t want to be one of those who continue to do the same thing over and over and expect a different result, I checked with the ADOBE site for what versions of PSE are compatible with macOS 10.15. The only version of PSE that is compatible with macOS 10.15 is ADOBE PSE 2020. In fact, most all Links on your page lead straight to ADOBE PSE 2023. ‘Installation Troubleshooting page’, ‘Comparison Overview page (2021)’, ‘Upgrade Pricing’, ‘minimum System Requirements (for 2021)’, the ‘new version 2021 of ADOBE’s “Elements” line’, ALL these links on your page leads straight to ‘ADOBE Elements 2023 Family’ page. So, while I applaud you for the ‘assistance’ you offer to ADOBE enthusiasts, I find it lacking in that I am not able to access a correct Download for Photoshop Elements Version 2020 and/or 2021.
Hey Scott,
You can find direct download links for the installers for all versions of Elements here:
How to Get Direct Download Links for All Adobe Software
But as you discovered, Adobe only ever has the current release of Elements for sale. And they update their website annually to reflect that.
So why do we still have links to older Elements versions? They’re mostly for people who need them – for example, if you lost your disc or installer file, or no longer have a DVD drive, etc.
However, if you were a subscriber to Creative Cloud, then you could run older versions as they are included in your subscription.
Hope that helps explain.
To Whom It May Concern,
I feel like I’m staring at a puddle of rainwater, but can’t seem to figure out how to get wet.
The above link that you provided led straight to an ‘OOPS! That page can’t be found.’ with some image that looks like
Dr. Emmett Brown in ‘Back to the Future.’
I’m trying to get a working download of ADOBE Photoshop Elements 2021, or at least PSE 2020.
As mentioned in my previous comment / post, I find that not one of your links takes one to an archival issue of Photoshop Elements.
I’m not sure what the connection to Creative Cloud is, that you mention. I do, in fact, have Creative Cloud on my laptop. I have an account.
I have an ADOBE account. I have products listed.
I simply do not seem to be able to locate any link for archival downloads for Photoshop Elements.
When I am able to get access through the provided link, and I click on the ADOBE apps Scrabble tiles I am directed to an ADOBE site page for Creative Cloud and ‘Get 20+ Creative Cloud Apps and more’ for $55 / month.
If I go to the left column and click on Creativity and Design, then Photo, I am presented with the options of Creative Cloud All Apps, Lightroom, Photoshop (not PSE), Lightroom Classic and ADOBE Stock. Clicking on the tile for Photoshop takes me to an offer for Trial and then purchase for $21 / month with a Subscription. I am seeking a ‘pay once’ non-subscription copy of ADOBE Photoshop Elements 2020 or 2021.
I thought that I would be able to locate a list of links to viable copies of legacy software for ADOBE Photoshop Elements. I would locate the version of PSE that I desired (ADOBE PSE 2020 / 2021), download it and install it. I guess it was all too much to expect.
Sorry for the trouble.
Thank you,
C. Scott W.
It’s no trouble at all, Scott. Just go to that first/initial page we linked above, and then scroll down that page until you see the direct download links listed for all the different versions of Elements, including Elements 2020 and Elements 2021.
However, just please be aware that, as noted in the previous comment, Adobe will only sell you the current/latest release of Elements… But you can sometimes find older copies of Elements in physical (offline) retail stores. In the U.S., it would be Staples, Best Buy, Walmart, etc. You could call around locally to see if there was any stock remaining, although version 2021 could be too far back for that.
The older, official Elements installers that we link to are mostly useful for customers so that they can reinstall previously-purchased software on a new computer, or if they misplaced their disc or installer file, no longer have a DVD drive, etc.
I have just downloaded Premiere Elements 2019 LS31 win64 ESD.zip from this site. It is to be a gift to someone who has a PC running Win 7. I believe any later than 2019 version would not run on Win 7.
Now, since it is a gift to be installed on another PC, I just do not know how can I pay for the software and get the installation code. Please advise.
Thanks, Jan
Hi Jan,
As stated at the top of that post, those older direct download links will still work but Adobe sells only the latest release of Elements…
Meaning, you cannot purchase a license or serial number for any other version than the current one, which is Elements 2023.
Sorry! That’s Adobe’s policy, not ours. Generally, Windows 7 computers are too old to be supported by any recent software.
How do I get a s/n for your Adobe Downloader Photoshop Elements 15? I bought Elements 2023, but it won’t export a file to burn to DVD. They discontinued that feature the previous versions had!
Hi, we don’t offer or have serial numbers. And Adobe sells only the latest release of Elements.
Sorry, wish there was something more we could tell or do for you!
I purchased a Fujitsu Scan Snap ix500 Scanner on 01/14/2015, which had a Setup DVD-ROM (CD) and Adobe Acrobat XI Standard software (FOR BUNDLES ONLY – CD). It looks like the Acrobat XI was a onetime purchase with the Scanner. Using the scanner and software almost every day since 2015.
Had to purchase a new computer. Downloaded software for the Fujitsu Scan Snap ix500 Scanner and Adobe Acrobat XI Standard software (I have a serial number).
Scanner works great, however I am not able to open my PDF documents; they shut down in a few seconds and I’m routed to an Adobe webpage showing payment options.
Do you know how I can fix this so that I can use the software I purchased without having to now pay a monthly subscription? I realize this is 8 years old or more, but I would like to use this one or purchase a onetime fee for another.
Please advise or direct me to someone who may help.
Thank you so much.
Sandra
Not sure, Sandra – do you receive any errors or other messages on your computer?
If you’re having difficulties activating a valid, purchased serial number, then we’d suggest contacting Adobe Customer Care directly for further assistance:
http://www.AdobeCustomers.com/
Regarding a new one-time purchase, Acrobat 2020 is the most recent non-subscription (perpetual) version that you can buy, although it may be harder to find due to its age.
