Adobe CS6 Trial Downloads: Direct Links (no Manager or Assistant)
Creative Suite 6 is now available for instant download and direct shipping, and there are many important differences in this release compared to Creative Suite 5, including hundreds of new features added to the individual applications.
Here we’ve put together a complete set of Adobe CS6 direct download links for all the new products (Windows and Mac OS), for instant easy access and the ability to use your own download manager or download assistant if you have any difficulty with what Adobe normally employs and need to get the trials without it…
Whether you’re considering buying a full version or will be upgrading from a prior CS release, or even if you’re getting a volume license or joining the Creative Cloud, you can always use these free trials to install, run, and activate the CS6 software on your system, without needing to reinstall.
Where available, we’ve also linked the free CS6 Extra Content downloads (aka Additional or Functional Content). Direct links for both the Adobe Muse 30-day trial plus the FREE, full Adobe Edge Animate 1.5 are offered as well.
Below is a table for CS6 trials in major languages. These links go to the authentic and original CS6 files residing on Adobe’s servers, are guaranteed genuine, safe, and will not change. For Windows, each program consists of up to two files, an .exe and a 7-Zip file (.7z). The .exe file will only work when the .7z file is also fully downloaded and resides in the same location. For the Mac, it’s just a single .dmg file for each program.
The supported Language Sets vary by product. The Western European languages can include French/Français, German/Deutsch, Dutch/Nederlands, Italian/Italiano, Spanish/Español, Portuguese/Português, Danish/Dansk, Finnish/Suomi, Swedish/Svenska & Norwegian/Norsk. To see which product supports which languages, visit the main Adobe trials page and then click on the selection menu for whichever product(s) you’d like to try – it will tell you which languages are currently available.

You need to have a free Adobe account and be logged into it to use the links below, as Adobe sets a session cookie on your browser that allows you to access the direct download links. Otherwise, you will receive an “access denied” or “resume your download” message preventing the connection. So please follow these instructions carefully or the links will not work!
- Adobe recommends temporarily turning off any surfing restrictions you might have running, like site or cookie blocking, firewalls or antivirus software.
- Click «here» to visit this page and then select the “Download Now” button at the bottom.
- If asked, then sign in with your Adobe ID or take a minute to create one for yourself.
- Now close or cancel any windows that may pop up.
- OK, now you’re logged in at Adobe with the trials cookie set, so you can instantly download any of the software below. Just make sure you have enough disk space.
- Download the files either by clicking directly on the DDL links, or by right-clicking and choosing “Save Link As…” on the popup menu – and save all files to the same place.
- Then follow the product installation instructions here.

Creative Suite 6 – Adobe CS6 Download Links
[ Do you believe any of these? The 10 Most Common Myths About Creative Cloud ]
All of these trials are supported on Mac OS X or Windows (32-bit x86 and 64-bit x64), with the exception of After Effects CS6, Premiere Pro CS6, and SpeedGrade CS6 which are 64-bit only. For more, see the complete set of system requirements for Creative Suite 6.
If you need or want the newer Acrobat XI (released Oct. 2012) instead of Acrobat X which comes bundled in the CS6 suites, then see our Acrobat XI Direct Download Links.
Note there is no separate trial download for Photoshop CS6 “Standard” – the trial is always the Extended version (having all Photoshop features including 3D and motion-based content), and then you decide which version you’d like to keep at time of product purchase.
You do not need to uninstall previous versions of Creative Suite; some users prefer to keep the older, familiar version(s) around as they come up to speed with the new product’s features, and some folks have CS3, CS4, CS5, and CS6 all on one computer.
We suggest using a browser other than Internet Explorer to download the files above. They can be quite large and sometimes IE has difficulty with the file or the download. Using Firefox or Chrome will work better.
Adobe CS6 Extra Content
This is Extra Content (also called Functional Content) that Adobe bundles with some CS6 applications. It is technically optional and not required to run the main products, but will improve your experience if you can take the time to download and add it to your installation.
What’s included in this free additional content are typically media assets, templates, tutorials, documentation, fonts, footage, sample files and projects, and so on. If you own a suite, you can download the bundle for that plus whichever applications are in it.
- InDesign CS6 Extra Content (130 MB)
Windows: File 1 Mac: File 1 - Illustrator CS6 Extra Content (112 MB)
Windows: File 1 Mac: File 1 - Premiere Pro / Encore CS6 Extra Content (733 MB)
Windows: File 1 File 2 Mac: File 1 - After Effects CS6 Extra Content
AE content will be migrated to the After Effects Exchange. - Adobe Audition Content Download Extras
This contains thousands of royalty-free audio sound effects and music loop files.

What size is Adobe Flash CS5 when downloaded? How much cap will it use to download?
Sorry about that, I meant to ask how much of a cap it wil take to download Adobe Flash CS6?
Hi Anél, for Flash Professional CS6 the size in English is 1.1GB (Windows) and 1.4GB (Mac), and in Europe it’s 1.2GB (Windows) and 1.4GB (Mac).
why is access denied? even though I have logged in and tried in other browsers.
Well, you just have to make sure you’re following the directions at the top of this page.

Just thought I’d say that I also tried the direct downloads over the last couple days, and they keep throwing ‘access denied’ errors. So it’s off to the infamous Adobe Download Assistant…
Well most people are here to get the CS6 trials without the Adobe Download Assistant – you just have to carefully follow the download instructions at the top of this page.
Then if you have any difficulties, then try a different browser, computer, or Internet connection (avoid Wi-Fi). We also put together a list of download tips, if you get stuck.
When I try to download it says that I need the archive in the same folder? Link? Download, please?
Hey Bob, please see these previous comments on why you might be getting that message, and how to solve it.
@ProDesignTools
Can we fix it? Yes we can!
Wait… I have another problem. I have the AfterEffects_11_LS7 (1,021,525 bytes) as a 7Z file, yet when I go to open AfterEffects_11_LS7.app, it still gives me the same message.
@ bob the builder
Wait, oh my gosh, thank you guys so much. The stupid installer kept crashing, and this was the only link that worked.
Cheers,
The UK
Since Creative Cloud came out all the links to download the full versions of CS6 are gone and they make you download every product in the collection separately. Does anyone know where to get the full version on Adobe. I have CS6 Design & Web Premium.
Thank you!
They’re all right here… The links are above. Just carefully follow the download instructions and choose whether you want the CS6 point products or any CS6 suite. You don’t have to download them separately if you don’t want.
access denied now even when signed in, just need to download master collection for mac.
InCopy for Windows still getting access denied, after following all instructions, diff. browsers, etc.
Followed the directions for download to the letter. Even added *.Adobe.com to my Trusted Sites. Still gives the error of Access Denied. I shutdown and restarted and opened Adobe.com and was still logged in, so cookies are saved. What did I miss?
I think it’s broken at this point… I’ve tried just about everything
Well I’ve tried everything, including reading the instructions, then logging in to Adobe ID etc. etc., but still fail to download anything
Page simply says “Access denied”
I need the Master Collection packages badly!! Can someone help me?
OK so I’ve tried again, this time actually setting the cookie session or whatever – and the DLs are being commenced, but how come the .EXE files (eg. MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.exe) are just 1MB??
If I’ve downloaded the .7z archive, do I still need the .exe file too??

@malchick
The direct download links above to the CS6 free trials above all continue to work fine – we just tested them again.
Make sure you are carefully following the download directions given at the top of this page… Clicking on the link in Step 1 is critical.
If you have any issues, try with a different browser, computer, or Internet connection (avoid Wi-Fi).
Occasionally Adobe’s servers can lock people out, especially after an aborted download… If so, then wait a while (like till the next day) before trying again.
Also check out this list of download tips if you’re stuck. These are large files so do sometimes take a few attempts to get full and intact.
If you’ve successfully downloaded the software but are getting messages on the installation, try googling the error message that you’re getting.
Lastly, you don’t need any other software to install these packages on Windows, and don’t need to extract anything manually… Just download both the .exe and the .7z file(s) into the same folder, and then run (double-click) the .exe executable.
Hope this helps!
Well I have no idea what that .exe file does. Maybe it’s an installer app that controls how the contents inside the .7z archive are being extracted?
BTW I followed the instructions here to set the cookie for download
As long as the cookie is valid while logged in, all DL links seem to be valid (although, I can’t use MD5 to check the integrity of all DLs).
Also all downloads have to be done within the browser’s DL interface (no external downloaders allowed).
Yes, that’s right – the .exe is a simple app to unzip the .7z archive for you and put the contents into a new folder on your Desktop, from which you use the set-up.exe file found there to actually install the product.
After I downloaded all the files, I fired up the Adobe installer and guess what is listed as available for download, CS6 Master Collection, just what I’d grabbed from here. It was probably cached with my account since I’ve downloaded it before, but consider checking before you try these files which are much slower. Thanks for the post!
You bet Christine, glad to help.
And if anybody is wondering if all these direct links still work to download the original CS6 free trials from Adobe’s servers – yes, they absolutely do… (just tested once again)
You just have to make sure to carefully follow the “Note: Very Important Instructions” near the top of this page.
If you run into any issues, avoid Wi-Fi and/or try a different browser or computer.
@ProDesign
Just curious, why didn’t you provide DL links to the LS7 language bundle and just the LS16 and LS4? Is there any significant difference between the LS16 and LS7 bundles if I’m to install in English only?
Because it’s either-or… Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Production Premium are available as a LS7 (English plus other languages). All others use LS16 for English only and LS4 for European languages.
Here’s a complete explanation of the mappings and meanings of Adobe’s different Language Sets.
As said that most of the products will install both on 32bit and on 64bit windows.
I would like to know whether these are 32bit software only and will install on 64bit windows in compatibility mode… or the installer is able to find out if my windows is 64bit and then install only the 64bit bundle ??
Is it that both the 64bit and 32bit installers are bundled as one or the complete suite is 32bit thus backward compatible on 64bit windows ??
Well it depends on the program. After Effects, Premiere Pro, and SpeedGrade are native 64-bit only applications. With Photoshop and Illustrator, you get a choice of whether to install/run a 32-bit version, a 64-bit version, or both.
All other tools are 32-bit builds.
